That is why i think they dont change hook clothes, bc Killian Jones( with normal clothes, normal hand, no jewels) doesnt sell, but Killian Jones with captain Hook clothes sell, that is why they dont give him new clothes, and wont do it.
Heh yeah, I think you’re quite right about that. Which is why I was a bit surprised they got rid of the Jolly Roger, since taking that away also slowly strips him of his pirateness. And I will be even more surprised (but at the same time not) if they get rid of the hook. Cause then Captain Hook will be neither Hook nor a Captain. He’ll simply be a man. Just like any other. Upside to that would be, it will make it easier for people to see past the leather and guyliner. His personality will have nothing to hide behind and then he’s just an ordinary man. You see when swarthy pirates spy on women through their spyglass, it’s romantic. When normal guys in jeans and a t-shirt do it, it’s creepy.
I also think ABC doesn’t realise that favoritism, can backfire.

In other news. Wasn’t it nice that ABC took the time to do a promo for “the men of ABC” and included ALL the men of ONCE? I sure am glad they included Charming and Rumple and Robin alongside Hook.
(hint: they didn’t)
Are they trying to be made fun of? I’m sorry but their man crush on Hook is getting very very sad right about now. Do they really think no one notices? That we don’t notice that they are basically saying: hey, hey guys! look at this!! look! we got a hot guy over here! look how hot we find him! he’s so hot, just watch this show, you’ll see what we mean! oh hey you over there! did you miss it?! we have a hot guy on this show, you should watch! look! *dangles Hook around with childish and slightly creepy enthusiasm*

This. This is what I thought would occur with Emma if she didn’t want to be with Neal. Emma is a strong woman and she doesn’t need a man to be happy *snaps fingers, rolls neck* Mhmmm. Regina is also a VERY strong woman too. Every woman in the world isn’t crying for a man to be with, and if they don’t get one, it’s not like its the end of the world. You can be happy, or in this case, have a happy ending without a significant other. Finding happiness with yourself leads to a happy life too, ya know
Exactly, I was hoping that if Emma wouldn’t end up with Neal, she’d stay single. Not because I don’t want her to be in love, but because the Hook option always felt just as that, an option. Cause: well we gotta pair the gal up with SOMEONE. And I just thought it would send a lovely message overall, that the first person you should be able to live with is always yourself.

Honestly, the uhm… bold thing to do here, would be to reunite Marian and Robin and have Regina realise that she can be happy without a guy. That may sound a bit burn your bras!-ish of me, but I suppose I’m a little tired of everything constantly revolving around romance (a.k.a getting couples together/putting couples through “trials”) on this show. One might be inclined to think there’s nothing else to life than getting your man/woman.
Omg. AMEN. And I know @WickedRegal‘s wrath will find me but the fact that the idea of happily ever after is being boiled down to “with a man/significant other” in EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON. ON. THIS. SHOW. is driving me batty.
I don’t want a romantic entanglement. I am perfectly happy on my own. Honest to god. I would like to believe that A and E recognize that you can be happy without needing some romantic attachment.
HALLELUJAH and high five and all that stuff! Glad to know someone else is on my page. Was starting to feel like I wasn’t allowed to root for single life happiness over here.

Interesting conversation between Adam & SwanFire Fan in regards to Neal’s death. I get the feeling that Adam is basically admitting that they killed Neal for CS.
I really don’t get how you get that from any of those tweets. He doesn’t even mention Neal or CS of SF. It’s the same line from Adam in each tweet–believe and understanding are different. People can believe that they killed Neal for CS, that’s fine, but there is no evidence in those tweets.
Yeah can’t see it either. In fact it only leaves me even more confused. I guess I missed a whole lot of context in those tweets.
Anyway, as for the Marian triangle thing, the more I think about this whole mess, the more cruel I find it that the creators would put their fans in such a impossible spot. Fans were able to get on board with OQ, because well Regina has been trying very hard to change her ways and to love Henry with all her heart and ya simply wish her a happily ever after. But now bringing back Marian, the ones who have truly come to love OQ are left with ONE option. To wish Marian out of the picture. The mother of that cute little kid Roland. How’s that for a double edged sword.

OR this is just the bitter cynic in me talking and everything on Once Upon a Time is lovely and makes a lot of sense.
