ParticipantAnd together, every night, we somehow manage to make each other feel better.
THIS! <3 That is exactly the reason I keep coming around. You guys always manage to make me laugh when I need it. I feel understood and not alone whenever I'm here posting about my grievances and sadness.

ParticipantDoing a little drive-by posting today apparently, but just thought of something else. People kept saying ‘who’s Belle to claim the necklace is born out of true love’, well I’m thinking, A&E are Belle. I think they were trying to confirm SF as true love without angering Lord Mouse, cause hey look!, we’re still doing CS like you told us to. But at the same time sneaking in some of their own stuff. That’s my theory and I’m sticking to it.

ParticipantWhat I can’t get my head around is why, if they knew Neal was going to die and they were going with CS, why did they not develop CS gradually? Why did they not have them grow closer immediately after 315? Why have Emma keep rejecting him and rejecting him right up until the end? They KNEW CS was going to happen, so what, did they just throw the towel in with making at least one element of their story believable? If you’re gonna do something, at least do it right. I just don’t get it.
*sigh*

ParticipantI believe Snow’s exact line was, “don’t let his sacrifice be in vain, Regina” and then they Oreo cookie’d his heart.
Yes she said something like that after the witch flew in and messed up the curse. What I meant was, Snow didn’t give up. After she had a moment to sob, she immediately went into ‘how can we save him mode’. She didn’t simply let go. She didn’t “honor” his sacrifice by letting him stay dead. No one honors death on Once, everyone’s always trying to bring everyone back.
ETA: Anyway, my point was that it was a stupid explanation/solution to the ‘how do we not bring Neal back problem’. Not to mention an unbelievable one.

ParticipantBut as for right now? Yeah. They had to work harder to make and leave him dead than to let him live.
I noticed that too. That’s why we got stuck with stupid lines like: “He died a hero, don’t take that away from him.” Right, because being a dead hero is better and more fulfilling than being a living hero.
I was actually rather curious as to how they would get around bringing him back, since we’ve established it would’ve been easy as pie to do that. Seems the answer was simple, repeat over and over how much we all want to “honor” Neal’s death/sacrifice. Oddly enough you don’t see Snow White saying: no I will not try to find a way to save Charming, we have to honor his sacrifice.

Look at him looking at us. He totally feels our pain.
@Corbin, Exactly, this is why they have to have rules. If they hadn’t killed and resurrected about 50 other people, then perhaps Neal having to stay dead would be more credible.Co-Mayor of Sad Town | Twin of Co-Mayor of Sad Town
