ParticipantHere’s my prediction of season 4:
Elsa (who is related to Regina, yeah Cora got around apparently) is going to be the gay lover of Anna, who is dead (easy way to not have to bring in 2 characters but of course we’ll see how she died in a totally redundant flashback). Killed by Rumpelstiltskin (or Regina or Hook or any “villain” who is “going through redemption”) and she wants revenge and goes after Belle who gets kidnapped (again). Which effectively keeps up the tradition of seperating Rumbelle.
Marian gets into the crossfire of someone’s fight. Possibly Regina or Elsa will either purposefully or accidentally kill her. There’s 1 episode of sad faced Robin and then he kisses Regina and all’s well in the world.
Snowing will have minimal screentime. Their time is spent looking after the baby and there’ll be a “funny incident” with a diaper. Oh the trials of parenthood.
All the while Hook and Emma sit in the background making out. Oh yeah and at one point Elsa freezes Hook’s heart (or his lips) and that’ll be one of the “hardships” CS will have to go through. It’ll be a big drama because if Emma kisses Hook she freezes over. The final battle will revolve around them, but Emma won’t actually be the one to save the day.
Henry’s pretty much not mentioned, because… who’s Henry again?
Also, either Henry or Emma will say to Elsa: hey they just made a movie about you. Cause after 3 seasons it’s still a novelty that fairy tale characters are real…
Am I still bitter you ask? What ever gave you that idea?

ParticipantI’m just gonna watch it all with SF still as endgame in my headcanon. Dunno how, dunno when, don’t care how deluded it may be, that’s just what I have to keep in mind in order to get through the rest of it. And if the show finally ends for good, and there’s no Neal return, it’ll make it easier for me to just put the whole show behind me, but at least my deluded headcanon got me through watching the whole thing, and it will have made it more bearable to watch whatever happened as it was happening because I’ll believe that it’s only temporary and SF finding Tallahasse is still endgame.
Omg, yes that’s totally a great idea. Why didn’t I think of that. It’s the perfect way.

ParticipantWhile I like having the focus on Belle’s family for a change, I still hope Elsa is not related to any of the existing characters. However, I realise there’s a slim chance I will get my wish. Also I’d apprreciate it if they didn’t make her ‘the big bad’. If they want to show ambiguity or have everyone think she’s evil while she’s actually not or something like that, that’s fine, but the ‘we have to defeat the bad guy/gal by the end of the season’ thing has been done (often, change the record A&E, yours is broken).

ParticipantI swear, that Milah thing is a thorn in my side. Along with Hook handing Bae over to Pan. Those two things, annoy me the most. Emma will never know about any of it. And the fact that apparently that’s ok, no biggie, he’s different now, no need to drudge up the past etc. is just infuriating.

ParticipantI have more faith in Belle discovering Rumple’s secrets than I do Emma discovering Hook’s secrets, because it seems the writers just want us to forget about all the bad stuff Hook has done.
I have no doubts about that. Everyone’s relationship can suffer.. sorry ‘go through challenges’ Snowing, Rumbelle, OutlawQueen (with the new triangle), but mark my words, CaptainSwan will be happy as a unicorn flying over a rainbow. I will put money on it. Why? Because, Hook’s redeemed don’t ya know.

ParticipantMaybe Ariel made an off screen appearance and that was the splashy part of it.
ETA: The well just seems like such an irrelevant reference.

ParticipantHas anyone figured out what was so “splashy” about this wedding? Did it rain or something? Overall it was quite underwhelming and tainted. Belle’s words were beautiful, but all the while Rumple’s dishonesty made it all seem on the empty side. It was nice that Belle made up with her father. Another lovely little off screen moment we are simply told happened, instead of shown.

ParticipantShe has changed and evolved, and this doesn’t change that. What it does is it changes the way she reacts to this. That’s the drama for us — how does this “new” Regina deal with this kind of adversity? We’re throwing a challenge in her way. This is not about her suddenly becoming that character we met three years ago.
[Regina and Emma] are in new place. That doesn’t just go out the window. If it did, what would have happened at the end of the finale is Regina’s eyes would have glared red, she would have conjured a fireball and Emma would be toast.
Okay. Good to know. Very good to know. Thank you.

ParticipantNo, I get you Onyx. I am now at the same point. But remember the game I play before the episodes, what is the WORST case scenario and then what you get is not as horrible. And that was fabulous, when we were trying to tread water to get from 315 to 322. But at 322, the initial “it’s not as bad” was replaced in short order by, “Not as bad doesn’t mean bad,” and, it’s over.
I promise you can’t be more sensitive drama queen than me. I had to be a grown-up for an hour today; I fought back tears on the way there and cried on the way home, and other than that, I have been fanning (or rather the activity formerly known as fanning. Grieving would be the most apt term at the moment.)
Yeah that game worked so well for the previous eps. I got some laughs out of it and what was on the show was indeed not as bad as the things we made up. The reason why it didn’t work this time I think, is because our actual worst case scenarios, did happen. There was nothing funny about that in hindsight.
I guess I just don’t wanna feel alone in my silly grief. Though I can see now that I really am not. Not sure I would know what to do if I didn’t have you guys to vent with. *hugs*
@annwyn, Don’t be sorry, we’re all feeling it. Welcome to Sad Town.Co-Mayor of Sad Town | Twin of Co-Mayor of Sad Town

ParticipantThey had an entire time travel episode in which Emma saves the life of an innocent woman because she just couldn’t die because SO INNOCENT (despite the fact that she was supposed to die) and then in which Emma full on shows that her concept of home is NEAL but then turns around and is like “nope. Neal must stay dead. No saving Neal”
BTW: I TOTES LOVED HIM AND WANTED HIM TO BE SAVED BUT NOPE. NO SAVING NEALFIRE. JUST NOPE. YOU JUST DON’T EVEN TRY, O DARK ONE. BUT I TOTES LOVED HIM AND WISHED WE COULD SAVE HIM. NOW IF YOU’LL EXCUSE ME I HAVE TO TAKE THIS TOTALLY INNOCENT PERSON I’VE NEVER MET NOR HAVE ANY CONNECTION TO BACK TO THE FUTURE BECAUSE TOTALLY INNOCENT.
Need I add anything to that? No. This says it all. And it confounds me that A&E aren’t seeing this. Or if they are, they’re ignoring it.
