Participant@Slurpeez: Exactly, this is what I mean by important stuff happening off screen. Apparently between ‘I’m deciding to train with Regina’ and ‘hey look I can make your hook disappear’ there was a transition of her coming around to it more and more. If that bridge scene was supposed to have been it, it was quite a sharp turn around for her.
Hello SFers
Would you please read THIS notice.
Please feel free to ask questions if you have any!
This should be quite interesting. It’s almost a game in itself eh. See how long you can go without talking ships. π Quite a lovely idea though.

ParticipantUnlikely source huh? I say Grumpy! He just missed Storybrooke and Granny’s bacon TOO much.

ParticipantCan you tell Iβm cranky today?
Been feeling the same way and reading back my previous post, it shows. It occurs to me that my wording seemed as if I don’t care much for Dylan, but that couldn’t be more untrue. I didn’t mean to sound so snarky, but apparently Once brings that out in me these days.
I guess the core of my annoyance is this, they keep being vague/hopeful/loophole-ish about his death on the show, while outside of the show in interviews and on twitter it’s all made out to be definite. Yes I would say a funeral is also definite, but there are these constant hints and clues being dropped (not sure if they are only in our heads or not) and it indeed feels like a carrot is being dangled in front of us.

ParticipantI wonder if intense acting like delivering a baby, had any effect on real pregnant Ginny. Like, pretending to have a contraction can bring on a real one? Sort of a power of suggestion thing. Also how weird must it have been for Josh and Ginny to have “dress rehearsals” for their own little one.

Participant“My magic is not powerful enough”? Interesting, since in the book Glinda is the most powerful of the 4 witches. I’m disappointed already. I hope there’s more to it though.

ParticipantBut why canβt they have clear heart rules? Why are there so many loopholes?
Because if they have clarity on the show, they will limit their own options. If they don’t have any loopholes, they will have to get creative and God forbid that ever happens. So we leave everything nice and open and vague so that we can later fix our mistakes and add some stuff we only thought of just now. Ergo, if they create rules, the writers themselves will have to obide by them and they simply do not wish to do so.

ParticipantA little underwhelming, however, so so glad it wasn’t yet another borderline incestual thing of drama. These days people who aren’t related to Henry in one form or another are hard to come by. So yay! for random gardeners I say.

ParticipantDid anyone find Emma a little too damn chipper about her magic? Oh and to talk to the dead you need the murderer and the murder weapon, what bull is that? What if someone died of natural causes?
The “Boom!” was just… painful.
‘Rules meant to be broken’, Zelena sounds like Pan. In fact Cora giving up Zelena, slightly resembled Malcolm giving up Rumple. Both out of selfish reasons, for wanting something better, not for their children, but for themselves. And then there’s the “back to your cage” business. It’s all a bit familiar.
And Neal alive (as Bae)? I think not. This is just cruelly giving people false hope. If it all does succeed, we’ll be seeing Bae (Dylan) not Neal (MRJ) so stop dancing around the damn subject and straight up tell us it isn’t happening. As for Rumple letting Neal’s sacrifice stand, I could get with that, if the death had been done the right way in the first place. Now it’s just another way of saying sorry Neal’s gone for good.
Though Rumple giving up the slightest of slight chances to get his son back still feels not right. I mean really, you expect me to buy that after eons of looking for his son, he now all of a sudden gives up? But I guess they must keep the characters ooc, it’s the new trend.
Glad there was no CS drama going on in this ep btw.

ParticipantLiked:
– Rose McGowan!! Too bad it had to be after her death, but it was nice to see more of Cora’s past. Eva betraying Cora, like Snow once did Regina, it was a nice parallel. And uhm I’m with Snow here, when did Eva become such a nice lady, since she was quite the brat before.
– The Regina/Snow moments and the fact that Regina stepped in between Cora and Snow. There was a time when all she wanted was Snow’s head on a platter, now she’s defending her against creepy blue ghost Cora. This connection was long overdue.
– Belle and Regina apologizing to her (Take notes Hook).
Disliked:
– The Rumple/Zelena dinner. It was all kinds of icky. And to be truthful it added very little. Yeah a bit of info on her plan, but really couldn’t that have been done elsewhere without her cleavage showing all over the place?
– Eva being called dark. Uhm well she only told a secret, how does that immediately make someone dark? Although after one attempt at using dark magic, Neal was also labeled a villain instantly, so I guess those labels are easy to gain.
On the fence:
– I didn’t expect to be saying this, but the OQ kiss kinda left me unbothered. Maybe it felt out of place? I’m not sure, but I didn’t get the wow factor I was expecting when they would have their first onscreen kiss.
