i saw some gifs of hook and henry, and there is one thing that i notice, hook keeps saying BAE, not NEAL, wonder if they really go with time travel or change the past and bring Dylan and then maybe on the final S4, that i believe is the last season, they will bring MRJ as guest star.
I think Hook never looked past Neal, to see Bae (until that hug apparently). He could never connect to Neal, because he didn’t look like that little boy he once knew anymore. Which might have been the reason he forgot about their past together so easily. Treating him like a rival in “the battle for Emma’s heart”, instead of the son of his former love Milah.

What makes her so different that she has to be crazier…I just didn’t see the reason behind her wickedness besides jealousy and greed.
I think the answer is as simple as A&E are trying to outdo their last villain. Every big bad must be badder than the last in their minds. At least that’s what I gather from their approach to Zelena.

The thing I don’t understand is, didn’t A&E say that there would be no time travel on Once? Or is this not considered time travel in the strictest sense? More like a rewind?

Hookriel will always be my favorite Captain Hook ‘ship. I’m looking forward to that portion of the episode.
Really?! Mine too. I always thought it made a whole lot of sense, what with pirates and mermaids going hand in hand basically. Even before Ariel was even cast yet, I figured that it might be a real good combination.
At this point I just hope he’s nice to her, seeing as he dislikes mermaids so much.

I wonder how many will quit the show over the summer hiatus? I just wonder. I suppose it also depends on who the big bad of season 4 will be. Oh well, now I’m just rambling on about nothing. 🙁
That’s an interesting point. See I have this thing where I have to know how it all ends. Once I’m invested in a story I have to keep watching, because my curiosity is way too strong. It’d be like reading a book and then stopping in the middle of it. I’d never know how it ends. So I can’t really abandon it. The only way that would happen is if the show starts to bore me, but with characters like Regina and Rumpelstiltskin I am still interested enough to keep watching.

Yes Zelena used those words in fact. But I’m refusing to have hope. It’s a dangerous thing to have when it comes to this show. Don’t wanna set myself up for disappointment.

Oh Ariel! Yay! I was so looking forward to seeing her again. And two words: Charles Mesure. Cannot wait for that either.
I have a feeling that with this episode, my uneasiness about Hook will finally be explained. Hopefully. I still think he might have made a deal with her. Or I don’t know, aligned himself with her at one point??
Maybe Ariel isn’t talking to Hook? Maybe she’s talking to Zelena and Zelena needs to pay for something… although… thinking back on that interview with Colin who talked about a “tricky” relationship. And what was up with that woman in the tavern? Did he fall in love again too in that missing year? Or maybe she’s family? Or a mermaid in disguise?
Here’s hoping I will actually get my questions answered this time.

This annoys me. They’re either wandering around with a bunch of nothing going on or they’re rushing through to the finish. Pacing, people.
True, like that Medusa story line from a while back. That was precious airtime that could’ve been used for something with more substance. Something significant. They act like they can afford to have fillers. How about explaining all the stuff left swept under the rug? “Fill” your time with addressing some of those things, I’d say.

Well I agree with the title. ‘Unstable’ is the perfect word for this woman. Did you hear the way she yelled ‘I will get everything you ever had’ at Regina. Zero control. Completely off the deep end.
I think the fact that we’ve seen similar backstories before, is why I can’t feel much sympathy towards her now and that is a big mistakes by the writers. See the thing is they’re trying to top something that can’t be topped. Rumpelstiltskin’s life is the most tragic of all characters (in my opinion). He takes the cake in the sad past department. By letting her be abandoned 3 times over, it’s like they’re saying, hey look here’s someone who’s even more abandoned than everyone else, feel sorry for her. That’s not the way to do it.
Try something other than abandonment, because it very quickly makes people go: yeah yeah been there done that. The topic doesn’t have the same weight to it as it once did.
