I like that idea. The only thing I can’t quite figure is that Morraine seemed to be well-known in the village, like she had always lived there and had a family. I’d have to go back and watch Desperate Souls again to make sure, but that’s a tricky role to pull off, unless Blue disguised herself as a foundling, was taken in by someone, and literally dedicated 90% of her time to the role for fifteen years. But then, there does seem to be a potential endgame we don’t understand yet, and if it’s that important…maybe she was willing to give up the jellyfish skirts for a decade or two.

The Fates are spinners, and in some incarnations blind, with one eye that they share between them. They’re also collectively know as the Morai. *peers in Morraine’s general direction* Interesting thought about them being Aurora’s fairies, too. Just because I’m convinced they’re the fates doesn’t mean they’re not also fairies or mixed up with fairies in some way. I’ll be sad if Blue is Merriweather though. I do so like Merriweather, still the idea that Blue was trying to replace Flora and Fauna was kinda neat.
opera13ParticipantSnerk, you know what would be amusing? If originally fairies came from one world: Wonderland, Neverland, or another, and fairies have scattered to different realms over time (not unlike the Elves of Middle Earth leaving Valinor in order to set up their own realms in Middle Earth). I could just see an episode of Once sometime where the queen of the original order (or her emissary) shows up and reveals that Blue was a rogue fairy who ran off from the original order and set up her own order, and is now under arrest for abuse of power and general mismanagement. No, I don’t expect it, but a girl can dream.
opera13ParticipantI noticed that the Rabbit never attempted to get the bottle. He must be fairly content in his little life, before the Queen interfered. Of course he couldn’t make any wishes unless Alice used hers, but it’s unclear how much he understood. Just an interesting point. He’s had the ability to meddle with magic before and decided to keep his paws off.

Curious what one looks like. Thought the origami was a charming addition. Still being driven nuts by the queen, but I have confidence she’ll get more depth than a playing card and become a full fledged chess piece at some point.
Care Bears line was cute. I kind of wonder, if the Knave was stuck in Storybrook in the same day for 28 years (not sure that he was) in the 80s…did he get stuck on a day when he fell asleep to the kiddie channel or something? Care Bears isn’t that big a thing right now, and he doesn’t look likely to be hanging out with any of the children in Storybrook. I can just imagine him forced to watch Care Bears, Rainbow Brite, and the Smurfs over and over and over for 28 years.
opera13ParticipantI am, thank you! And thanks to whoever blocked out that bit above. Didn’t realize it was a spoiler. I shall read the guidelines.
