Participant*sigh* It would have been so easy for them to not include that picture, especially given how many others they have released for the episode. I bet they didn’t even realise what it was that they were putting out there.

Does this mean no Once on December 1st?

ParticipantI find the ratings stuff a bit confusing, but the same site has the season 6 finale down as getting 2.95m viewers, whereas the season 7 premiere had 3.26m – does that not mean that this episode actually performed pretty well?

Participant“Once Upon a Time” made its Friday debut with middling ratings: Its 0.7 among adults 18-49 was third in its timeslot, a tenth of a point behind “MacGyver” and “Hell’s Kitchen” and was predictably behind last season’s premiere of 1.3 on a Sunday night.
The 0.7 is roughly equivalent to a 1.0 on another night (Friday ratings are about 30 percent lower), which would be on par with “OUAT’s” average last season. Also on ABC, “Inhumans” fell a bit from its premiere, coming down two tenths to 0.7.

ParticipantI felt like I was watching half of a great pilot and half of a tired old show. I loved elements of the episode, but some of the dialogue and editing were simply awful. I also feel that they made a bad decision by starting the episode in Storybrooke. They could have brought those elements in later. The “uber” scene should have gone first IMO, as that truly felt like it was from a different show. I feel as though there is a lot of pandering to the fans, where actually they need to realise that to make the show great, sometimes that means making choices that don’t please everyone.
I like Tremaine and am intrigued to see what they do with her… The Alice scene in the new realm was ruined for me by how awful the lair/vines looked. I guess they have lost some budget.
I could have done without Hook altogether, although I know that because his character has such a huge fanbase that would never happen. I feel as though they really could have got rid of a lot of the legacy characters and had more chance at selling it as a completely new story/show.
I will keep watching, but I’m not sure for how long…
but how does a motorcycle run without gas and how does Henry have service in the New Realm? Literally, someone, come up with a Headcannon for this to make sense, please!
Why can it not just be as simple as saying that the bike is enchanted? Given the nature of the show, it isn’t that far-fetched to assume that either the bike was enchanted in storybrooke by Regina (or someone else) to ensure that it runs wherever it is, or someone within this new realm could have used magic to keep it running.

ParticipantYES! I am so glad the pictures they released earlier weren’t the only ones. I love these proper studio shots – especially the ones of Regina and Alice! 😀

ParticipantSkimmed what you wrote for vague details. Does it feel like Once Upon a Time or does it feel very different tonally? So jealous that you’ve seen it already!

Participant“New Identities?” Does that mean Hook, Regina, and Rumple have new FakeCursed! memories? I assume they brought these people back for S7 to have familiar, well-loved characters. If they have “new identities” they won’t be the characters we know with all of their development from the past 5-6 seasons. I hope this isn’t what it sounds like… The only way I would like this is if we’re still seeing flack backs or flash forwards post the S6 finale of Regina, Rumple, and Hook.
I guess it may have helped sweeten the deal with the actors? It will give them something different to sink their teeth into. New characters, new city – it makes the job sound more exciting I’m sure.

ParticipantIts a shame that they can’t get the rights for The Chronicles of Narnia, as there is so much stuff they could use from that.

ParticipantOut of all those leaving, I’ll definetly miss Zelena! Her story felt half-done and like Watcher said, her not having her powers just really doesn’t seem right. She was literally a prodigy of magic, the most powerful sorceress in town, and they just snatched away all her magic….I just don’t think Zelena would let herself remain powerless, and like Bex said…her arc in Season 7 could’ve been about her finally getting her magic back.
They could have used her, instead of Regina, to hold back the curse as well. It would have been much more believable if it had been her powers as there is no way Regina could have had enough of an impact on the descending darkness. Zelena ended up being really passive in this episode, which just isn’t her.
