But are people who weren’t watching OUAT for the past 6 years going to tune in for a 7th season? Did they for the spinoff? I don’t think so. I think people who gave up on the show will return though. Maybe.
Yeah, I meant more the fans that had tuned out because the show got so convoluted that they couldn’t follow what was going on. If they are going to grab them back then they are really going to have to be clever.
Yeah, i don’t think it is the wish realm either. It might be another realm and other versions, but it shouldn’t be those versions. There are already two Regina’s in that realm. Regina has murdered Snow and Charming. Henry knows that she murdered them. Hook is fat and old. Rumpel is completely insane. I just don’t think that works. Also, Robin. They aren’t going to bring back a Robin. No one wants to see that. It has to be something more then that. Something actually different.

I still wonder if they might go the route of allowing the characters to leave storybrooke and seeing them out in the real world. It could be that Regina, Rumple and Hook all have to sacrifice their own happy endings so that the curse is broken and/or the people they love are safe (it would easily explain why Belle, Emma and Henry/Zelena are all absent). Now whether this means they get sent somewhere, or they get trapped in our world away from everyone else, I don’t know.
Is Henry un-cursed because he is of this realm, like in past situations.
I assumed that. Although it could be something to do with him being an author now, or – he may have been holding the book when the curse hit and protected in some way? I rewatched and couldn’t see the book in his hand right at the end so it is probably not that. The book does always manage to survive these curses though.
Of course it wasn’t because Belle is dead in WR.
They could very easily have gotten around that if they wanted to. We only ever saw a bag of bones, which could have been anyones. Belle is resourceful and may have gone into hiding.
Wish realm is the only thing that makes sense. There’s no way that SB Hook or Rumple would suddenly not care about Emma or Belle and the show wouldn’t want to keep calling attention to the fact that JMo and EdR aren’t there with the whole “where’s Belle?” and “Why isn’t Emma with you?” questions. WR Hook doesn’t know Emma romantically and WR Belle is already dead so WR Rumple isn’t going to be searching for her. The only spanner in the works would be Regina. I have no clue how they’re going to do it.
I agree – it does make sense. But I still don’t like it! The fact they are including violet in the finale definitely makes me think that we will be getting a grown up Henry who is left to raise their daughter by himself for some reason. Why else would she be there?
Almost guarantees we will be in the wish realm.

If the promo is anything to go by, there will at the very elast be a sword fight between Emma and Gideon and Rump gives Emma the black wand. So im guessing for some shades of epicness here.
I hope we do have some sort of magic-off, along with the thematic stuff. If it all amounts to a sword fight I will very very disappointed!
It seems crazy that they might just be introducing different versions of the same character. They then aren’t the same character at all. They wouldn’t have the same memories. I think that seems bizarre. That means that all the characters from the original Ouat are gone if these are different versions of those characters. At this point, we need more information, so i will wait til we see what happens in the finale.
Agreed. I would almost prefer an entirely new cast if they want to make everyone different characters. The “wish” versions just never felt like real people, and what this show really needs in my opinion is real people that we can relate to.
