The Author will be played by Emma Thompson
I would like for it to be Merlin. A king Arthur storyline would be neat. Though a small part of me would enjoy it if “the author” was just this random guy, living in a crummy appartment and having no idea that all his stories had come to life.
I agree with you both and think it’d be cool if they did it “Stranger Than Fiction” style.

What Do You Want To See Next? #292319ozgrlParticipantMary Poppins, Lion King, Phantom, Mama Mia, Chicago, Rent, and Wicked are all currently on Broadway. Newsies is touring. I don’t see them doing any of these soon. I’d love to see Beauty and the Beast or Aida though.

What happened here? I’m normally more a lurker because I don’t have much to add to all of your incredible theories, but this thread has been dead for days now. Where did everyone go? 🙁
ozgrlParticipantSo I see lots of ppl discussing Yen Sid, but I didn’t see that in the episode. Where did I miss it?
ozgrlParticipantJust doing a rewatch and noticed a reuse of language:
In Going Home when Belle interrupts his birthday memorial for Bae he says “Well he’s not dead. Just lost”.
In this ep, Z offers to reunite Rumple with his “long lost son”. To which he replies, “he’s not lost, he’s dead”.
ozgrlParticipantI think that there is still hope, Neal learned that magic can be a means to end, by seeing how much his father fought to get back to him. It took him a a while to forgive Rumple, but once he did, he did so fully as evidenced in their conversation on the JR. I think Neal was trying to emulate his father’s dedication to his son, by trying to do the same thing for Henry; no matter the cost, I need to be with my family. He was also guilty of the same thing everyone in town was of; assuming that because Rumple is as powerful as he is, that he will be able to combat any type of magic at any cost. I find it tragic that the moment he finally shows that he trusts his father implicitly, that is what brings him down.
ozgrlParticipantYou can also install an ad blocker (do a quick google search for one) so that you don’t have to see them.
ozgrlParticipantNot that we need any more proof about them being TL, but just want to point out that Henry had the same I-kind-of-remember-you-even-though-I-lost-my-memories look at Regina when he saw her in the diner as Emma did with Hook in 312. And Regina said that Henry was her TL and would be the only one to be able to wake her from the sleeping curse had she been able to go through with it.
ozgrlParticipantMilah was listening to what was going the whole time, to see how Rumple would react to her leaving and see if he would fight for her.
I don’t think she intended for Killian to kill Rumple, just see if Rumple would fight for her. I think that might have been the deciding point for Milah, if Rumple would prove that he’s not a coward.
This reminds me of what Pan had Bae do to Rumple when he joined the lost boys. All Rumple had to do was ask Bae to come home with him, and Bae would, but he didn’t, he took action. With Milah it seems that action was what was needed, instead of words and he failed there; with Bae it was words that was needed and he took action. He seems unable to read his family properly and know what they need of him.
ozgrlParticipantYes, you got it! 😀
