ParticipantThe hat steals magic. I have no idea what that means for this arc. Are they going to put the hat on The Snow Queen and suck her magic away? Also, the whole person goes in: well that will be entertaining…
Since we have characters like Elsa and Emma, who both are at odds with their magic and wish they didn’t have it, I’m worried what this hat could mean for them. I wouldn’t want to see either one of them lose their magic, or be trapped in a hat.
Most likely, the hat will the the Snow Queen’s fate. The writer in me knows our heroes will be fine. I hope.

ParticipantThat’s a bit darker than I was anticipating. Love the concept, but I’m actually scared for our heroes.
In the podcast, Daniel said that he could see a face in the hat – or at least the smoky figure with yellows eyes that Yensid makes in Fantasia. I went back and watched it, and he was right. You can see that same shape of smoke with the eyes near the bottom of the hat.
So i’m wondering if that figure in the hat will eventually come out of the hat, or maybe we will see flashbacks of that character before he/she was put in the hat.

ParticipantWelcome to the forums SFG.
You should list some of your favorite once episodes for us. That’s really the best way we can judge you 😉
Truly happy to have you, and can’t wait to hear some of your thoughts.

ParticipantReally, if Elsa was adopted and the Snow Queen is her biological mother, then adoption would be something else Elsa and Emma having in common.

ParticipantPossibility #1: Elsa’s arrival in town gives The Snow Queen a way to lay low and watch all the blame be put on Elsa, while the ice Queen’s plan unfolds… whatever her plan is.
Possibility #2: PLOT.
I’m gonna go ahead and cite RG for this one.

ParticipantBeing frozen inside storybrooke is better than being turned into a flying monkey.

ParticipantBo Peep? Ha! This should be interesting. 🙂

ParticipantMy thoughts after reading it were that Princess Snow White made a public appearance (this would be when her dad was still alive), and shepherd Charming saw her at said public appearance. Because she was royalty, and him a sheperd, he probably never looked twice at Snow.

ParticipantWhat if Will is one of the twelve brothers and the one sister is the sister who died in the frozen lake or whatever. Maybe that’s why Hans is angry now. Elsa might have inadvertently caused the death of his sister.
Like your idea, Watcher! The only potential hole I see in it would be Will Scarlet coming from a background of Royalty. I don’t think Will would’ve left the life of a royal to be one of Robin Hood’s merry men. However, I could see it being in Will’s character to reject royal life, so who knows. He’s such maverick at times.

ParticipantI have a crack theory regarding Elizabeth’s character: She’s an older Anna. Kristoff bolted from the wedding, leaving Anna heartbroken and that sliver of ice that Elsa accidentally struck into Anna’s heart began to grow again, turning Anna from a warm person to an icy one.
Watcher and I (mostly watcher) expanded on your theory a little.
A&E said Elizabeth Mitchell would be playing either Anna and Elsa’s mother OR the original Snow queen. POM suggested the idea that Elizabeth Mitchell is Anna, all grown up, with blonde hair because her heart froze again.
Elizabeth Mitchell’s character could be both Anna AND the original Snow queen.
After Elsa is trapped by Rumple, Anna becomes queen of Arendelle. In her sister’s absence, her heart freezes again (her hair becomes blonde), and she becomes the Snow Queen from the original fairy tale.
She grows up as Queen of Arendelle until Regina’s curse bring everyone to Storybrooke. That’s where she will be when Elsa arrives.
