ParticipantMaybe she’ll be playing the original Ice Queen. Frozen never made it a point in the movie to explain how Elsa got her powers, so I want to think Mitchell’s casting will have something to do with that. Like, the original Ice Queen’s powers became such a burden that she gave them to Elsa when she was just a baby. Something like that.
I love Elizabeth Mitchell!

ParticipantWe have several characters that claim black as their signature color.
“Hasn’t anyone told you? Black is my color!”
😉
PanTheMan
ParticipantMy guesses:
In Cold Blood
Fire and Ice (also a title of a LOST episode)
Good Girl (song lyric from Let it Go)
Ice Age (Why not?)
Cold as Ice (Song title – Foreigner)
Wintertime Love (song title – Doors)
Snow (Song title – Red Hot chili Peppers) THIS ONE, especially if Elsa is connected to the intense winter Snow was born during.
Tenth Avenue Freeze Out (Song title) Reminds me of New York City Serenade
Thin Ice – This one makes me think of Rumple being in trouble with Belle for his lies.
The Wall – Game of Thrones Reference. Not my best contender, but…
I thought a lot about song titles and lyrics.

ParticipantOne loose end from season 3B that I think they might use for season 4 is what changed Eva from a bratty princess to a just queen. Having Snow say, “I guess I’ll never know what changed her,”(3×18 Bleeding Through) just felt like a big teaser. I like the idea of Eva’s change being related to Elsa somehow.
I can accept that SOMETHING happened to Eva without knowing, but why draw attention to it if the writers don’t have a plan?
PanTheMan
ParticipantIt’s been mentioned (not sure what episode) that Snow White was born during an extremely harsh winter. My hopes are that Elsa is related to that. Maybe she’s related to Eva or something. I have less theories going into season 4 than I did going into season 3.
PanTheMan
ParticipantSince Rumple originally used Snow and Charming’s hair to bottle true love, it’s possible that using charming’s heart was key to bringing magic back to storybrooke. Technically, since they share a heart, Snow wasn’t just crushing Charming’s heart. It was also her heart… in a weird metaphorical way.
Their true love brought magic to storybrooke once, so it’s possible their hearts (used as ingredients to the curse) did it the second time.
PanTheMan
ParticipantRumple said, “My vault is for the darkest of magic that even i don’t often understand.” Something along those lines.
So I’m thinking Elsa will be a villain. I could possibly see her being like King Midas, where her touch causes more trouble than she means for it to.
I could also see them combining Elsa and the White Witch from Narnia. I really hope they do this and we go to Narnia next!
PanTheMan
ParticipantI think Elsa could also be the Witch from Narnia who brings a thousand years of winter.
PanTheMan
ParticipantNarnia really focused on kids, so i could see Henry getting the spotlight a lot more next season if Narnia is where we’re going.
