You brought up something I hadn’t considered before…is this version of Jafar gonna be during his time as a Genie? Or has he got himself out of the lamp?
Good question. Does anyone know for sure?
If Jafar is still just a sorcerer or something, maybe heis chasing after the Genie (cyrus) to become a Genie. He realizes the potential of such power, but perhaps he doesn’t know the price.

I’m wondering if they are going for a more creature Ursula. Like Maleficent but full on Kraken. Regina could still be the terrifying sea witch that summons the creature.
Maybe they’ll make Ursula Regina’s pet… ha, kidding.
I wasn’t sure how everyone felt about Pleasure Island being Neverland when they’ve already made illusions to it being Phuket.

That line from Jafar almost makes it seem like he doesn’t want to just outright kill Alice.
Sounds like he wants to use her to find Cyrus. I’m thinking the two genie’s have a past beef, and Jafar wants revenge. I’d like to think Cyrus is Aladin’s Genie (but A&E gave him a name other than Genie), and Jafar hates being a genie since it’s more like being a prisoner. Someone wants some revenge, and I’m hoping we see how it all started in Agrabah (spelling?).
Something else I noticed, on the Neverland map, the jolly roger is anchored in CANNIBAL’S COVE. That’s the Disney version, and that’s already dark enough for Adam and Eddy’s vision, I bet.
After watching the cartoon, here are some things I thought of:
Peter Pan came to the nursery window to listen to Wendy’s stories. For me, this seems like it could be a pretty strong connection to who wrote the book- whether wendy or PP. For some reason, I think Tink will be involved too.
PP wanted Wendy to be a mother to him and the lost boys. What if kidnapping Henry was more about Emma or Regina than Henry? (I doubt it, but it’s something to think about). Considering so much of the show is about motherhood, I doubt those themes will disappear.
When PP is flying around the Darling’s house, he looks more like a shadow in the dark, but when he comes in the light, you see the iconic green tights, feathered hat, and red hair. I wonder if the Shadow and PP are less separate than we’ve assumed. What if he is a night and day entity, PP during daytime and Shadow during night time. (They are probably completely separate, but i wanted to share)
Fairy Dust vs. the power of Believing. I’m wondering if the Power of Believing is going to replace a certain emphasis on fairy dust in PP mythology.

What if… and stick with me here.
Say a huge motivation of all mermaids is to steal the soul of a human. Okay, let’s also say that Ariel attempted to steal the soul of Eric but only managed to get half his soul.
Maybe this humanizes her and makes her different from the rest of the mermaids, also possibly giving her the ability to walk on land and/or swim with a tail.
just a thought.
I could totally see Prince Eric being a prince more like the original James. I definitely see Ariel getting burned by her love for him and Eric not being around very long (one episode tops).
When i think of the way the word “Procured” comes up so often, it strikes me as a curse word – as in a word used in result of the curse.
I wonder if Regina could use the memory triggers both ways. Like the rabbit hole matchbook with Bell, but instead of getting false memories, a character gets their real memories back. What if she did this for Rumple, so he’d help her get a baby through magical means.
This could definitely add to the trust issues that must exist aboard the jolly Roger, especially between Rumple and Regina
