ParticipantI am not sure if this is relevant, but Lillian is the name of Walt Disney Wife who is credited in naming Mickey Mouse. Since the name of the girl is Lily, and Lillian name actually mean lily. I figured maybe there is a connection.
I know a lot of us joke about Walt Disney being the book’s writer but that is rather strange.
Honestly I have no idea how this character will pan out, but if they didn’t dismiss Henry getting a girlfriend. I would have said that the girl could have been Henry’s true love. They dissmissed it, so that idea went down the toilet.

ParticipantWhat if Hook puts two and two together and assumes he killed Zelena and he hid his murder the same way?
I think Hook already put two and two together, because it is obvious if rumple has the dagger then he would have gone after Zelena. Besides he knows he can change video tapes, so it won’t take that long to figure out he killed her.

ParticipantRumple may not have been the perfect husband from Milah’s perspective, (though I can’t condone how she blatantly disrespected him in such a public way), but no man, especially one who felt stuck and desperate, and who genuinely cared for his family and was trying to do the best with what little they had, deserves to be led to believe that his wife had been kidnapped and gang raped then likely killed, so that he had to go back tell his child that his mother was dead. And if Milah had any knowledge of what Rumple was told, (likely because she was probably below deck and could hear his altercation with Hook), and did nothing to ease his grief over that, then I have no sympathy for her.
I agree. Also Rumple never disrespected Milah publically. He tried to be subtle and encourage her to return home rather than calling her out for leaving her young son unattended at home.
Agreed, Rumple did deserve to be treated with more respect than what Milah was providing. Hook was being a tremendous jerk (honestly this is the only curse word that I could think of to describe him) in wanting to duel a cripple man who has a young kid at home whose has a mother that he is planning to run away. Neigher Milah or Hook was right in treating Rumple this way, and at the same time Rumple was wrong in killing Milah. Since two wrong don’t make a right, but I can’t say that she didn’t have it coming.

ParticipantYeah….believe me….Regina and Rumple already paid the price for their sins, so I’m not even about to go off into that. But what has Hook paid? And do tell how Rumple publically humiliated Milah….did he leave her and their son for some sword swinging female pirate? Rumple treated Milah with love while he was human…she’s the one who treated him like an animal.
I agree. Hook hasn’t really suffered any consequences for his actions.
I’ll admit Hook is my least favorite character in the show, because I find him to be a bit obnoxious, and repulsive (despite the fact actor is incredible good looking) that I now consider him to be cold shower. Normally I would keep my opinions to myself, but I thought admitting this would better benefit a point that I want to make. So if anyone who is a hooker, please don’t dismember or maim me. Since I do think Hook did suffer some pretty nasty consequences as a result of taking Milah. Since Hook got to see someone whom he probably (at the time) considered to be the love of his life die right in front of him. and afterward he got his hand cut off by Rumple. If that wasn’t bad enough he had to spend then next 300 years in island being run by Psycho Peter Pan, and lost boys who probably would get along famously with the kids of Lord of Flies. It was during time period that went from pirate captain to Peter Pan’s errand boy (which we still haven’t seen yet). I can say alot thing about Hook, but that fact there wasn’t any consequences as a result of stealing someone else wife wasn’t one of them.
Besides this one detail, I do agree that Rumple may have killed Milah, he didn’t public humiliate her. While I understand having a husband who ran from battle must be difficult to deal with. I can’t say that I agree with the way she would told him it would have been better if he died, nor do I agree in tell him “You mean like being a man and fighting in the ogre wars? Other wives became honored widows while I became lashed to the village coward. I need a break. Run home, Rumple. It’s what you’re good at.” in public. I would consider that to be a bit more public humiliating, especially if (if being the important word) she does it regularly. Rumple running was natural reaction, and if you don’t believe me I recommend reading The Red Badge of Courage by Stephen Crane. Since that book does deal with the subject pretty well.

ParticipantNone of our villains do things that are sadistic for no reason. They all have reasons, it’s whether or not the audience subjectively accepts their reasons
One Problem, Tigerlily was a princess of an entire tribe. While that may explain lack of involvement of Tigerlily it doesn’t explain the lack of involvement of her people. My theory is that he and his pirates killed the Neverland Indians (which does include woman and children) and then drowned Tigerlily, since Peter pan ordered him too. Before anyone says anything I am basing this on the historical events like Trail of Tears, Wounded Knee Massacre, and the Sand Creek Massacre. Which the show could use for inspiration to explain Neverland Indians absence.

Participanthe issue I’m having is that I guess you can just walk through a door to get to our world from another one, and that kinda stuff bugs me because Dark Curse that took centuries of planning, but nope, you can also just walk through a door. It just takes the potency out of a thing that was the basis for the whole show.
Yes if someone can walk into our world from a door, then that makes Regina and Rumple look like pure idiots for the first curse. And then it makes Snow White and Charming look equally stupid for the second curse.
Couldn’t agree with you two more….like…The Dark Curse would be an unnecessary plot device if Adam and Eddy just make a door appear that leads to our world! The ONLY way I’d be okay with this is if Yen Sid created the doorway, and only Elizabeth Mitchell’s character knew about it. But I’d have to see a scene where Regina and Rumple just look at each other crazy. By the way….any chance the Ice Queen may be popping up like Narissa did in Enchanted?
Okay That would be awesome if she did, because I love Enchanted. Any chance of Enchanted being in storybrooke as me acting like a fangirl.

ParticipantLet us not forget the other main villain (of sorts) in this show Hook. The writers have shown a great deal of change and goodness in Regina and Rumple, in Hook it appears to me as if they have barely or partially shown any of this and have decided to fast forward his redemption and just hand him his happy ending on a golden plate. We have not really seen him go through the turmoil Regina and Rumple have experienced and it very much irritates me as it would be good to have an insight into that side of Hook’s character which I think has been skipped.
True, and i think that the biggest weakness and that the reason why he is my least favorite character. With him being a pirate you have so much potential gone to complete waste. Since he could be has complex as Regina and Rumple, but in the end he not. The only time I was even excited with him was in season 2 and in episode of the Jolly Roger.
DEAR STORYBROOKE/Once Fandom:
YOU MEAN I SINGLE HANDLEDLY RESPONSIBLE FOR REGINA’S ACTIONS?!?! I HAVE CONTROL OVER THE SHOW!! I AM LIKE GOD!! BOW TO ME YOU LESSER HUMANS. I SHALL NOW MAKE ALL MY WISHES FOR ONCE UPON A TIME COME TRUE SINCE I HAVE ALL THE POWERZZZZZZ
O.O
WR I think you broke RumplesGirl.

ParticipantI think way back when I had some idea that it would be cute to see Servant!Belle attempt to use the hat to help with her mopping, and consequently flood Rumple’s hall.
Okay I will love to see that, and the only reason I am hoping for Mickey to be on the show is because I want Rumple to also be Scrooge Mcduck, and be related to Donald Duck. 😀
Sage of Earth
ParticipantI agree with almost everything you said, the only thing is….I guess I can understand Regina’s frustration in wanting to change her history. She’s tired…she’s exhausted….personally I think a long break out of Storybrooke would do her a lot of good, something I predict happening in the winter finale. Regina just leaving Storybrooke all together, and it’s actually gonna be Henry to rewrite History.
i know how much you understand Regina and I’m totally okay with it. It’s natural…we all have our favorites. It’s when our favoritism clouds what the characters have done.
Agreed I’ll admit I would be the same ways with Rumple and Belle. Since Belle is my favorite Disney Princess, and Rumple reminds of my dad who passed away. Personally with his lieing thing, I just think it has to do with a bit self confidence, trust and a bit of psychological damage caused by the being Zelena slave, dieing and seeing your kid die. Which is all big life changing stuff to deal with such a short period of time. See I guess I do it to, sometimes.
