Yay! Thanks for this. 😀 I’m going to go listen/watch the Skin Deep Commentary now~
[adrotate group="5"]pekadotParticipantHi there! I’m actually new here too, so I guess we’re both in the same boat. 😉 Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you as well!
pekadotParticipantHmmm, I hope not. There’s no one I’d really like to see die out of the characters we know right now. Maybe some insignificant person or backstory character will die. Haha.

Or, we’re all overthinking this and Owen really could be someone else entirely as I already pointed out! Would be interesting if he actually is a Young Greg, but we’ll have to wait till the episode airs for confirmation.
Hahaha maybe. It is pretty easy to over think with this show when you learn how complicated it can get. Similar over-thinking happened a lot with LOST. 😛
pekadotParticipantHmm… perhaps Owen is Greg with his father. As for the memory thing, maybe something happened in Storybrooke (his father being killed?) that led to little Greg repressing the memory. Perhaps he was adopted by a new family or taken care of by his mother who discouraged his tellings of the weird town? Maybe he grew up with a nagging feeling in the back of his mind and was always somehow drawn to the place where he had lost his father? He may not remember Storybrooke completely now, if he is, indeed, Owen, but is still trying to make sense of all of the magic he’s seen? Not sure if this theory makes any sense at all, buuuut it’s just an idea. 😛

Their kiss will blow freaking Corumple outta the freaking water. *grumble grumble grumble* Cora will become this stupid distant memory *grumble* Spark will fly, fire works will go off, flags will wave. *grumble*
I think it will too. Hahaha. Or it better at least! I mean, I’m sure they’ll both be ecstatic to have each other back. Although, I hope they give us a big kiss this time in addition to an embrace.
pekadotParticipantTheir relationship is going to take a turn that will surprise us all?! Is that a good or bad thing, I wonder. O_O On a side note, if and when she gets her memories back (because, for some reason, I’m not sure she will in “Lacy”), I hope they have a big passionate kiss that rivals the Rumple and Cora (Corastiltskin?) kisses in “The Miller’s Daughter.” 😆
March 11, 2013 at 11:05 pm in reply to: MILLER’s DAUGHTER: Favorite & Least Favorite Moments #179193pekadotParticipantFavorite moments:
-the Rumbelle phone call (Yeah, everyone loved this scene and nearly everyone already saw it but… It was so beautiful! D:).
-the subsequent Bae and Rumple moment. Bae’s little “I’m still angry” followed by a desperate clinging to his father was too perfect for words. 🙂
-every scene with Snow. The way she whispered Cora’s name over that candle was chilling. O_O I also loved the way she manipulated Regina into placing Cora’s heart back in her chest. Great character development. Can’t wait to see what happens with Snow in the coming episodes.
It was really an all around excellent episode. In fact, I don’t know if I could pick out even one “least favorite” moment. Although I found the kissing between Cora and Rumple to be a bit weird (It felt wrong, yet, at the same time… kind of hot), I have to admit the acting was superb.pekadotParticipantTo me, the fact that she ripped out her own heart means that she didn’t really love him because she was willing to give him up. Belle was coming back to Rumple. She was going to fight for their love. In the end, whatever Cora felt for Rumple was totally eclipsed by her love of power. I think she was in lust with his power, what he could give her, darkness and the ability to make them all bend.
Agreed. I think the fact that she was willing to rip her own heart out showed that love wasn’t the most important thing on her agenda. Although, we could also argue this in “Skin Deep” when Rumple chose his power over Belle. Of course, the difference here is probably fear in Rumple’s case. Cora breaking his heart gives context to Rumple completely freaking out on Belle and not thinking she could love him. After all, two women (that we know of) both hurt him in similar ways…
