If Cora’s story follows the traditional Miller’s Daughter story, this could be Cora agreeing to give Regina to him or as Rumpel says when Regina was more portable. 😆
Found the teaser that goes along with the pic.
In reference to your spoiler. That’s what I think. I think this might be that deal. If it is, Cora seems to have a pretty annoyed/disinterested expression on her face. This seems to be no big deal for her. Ladder climber for sure.

I think Rumple is safe, doesn’t he have a 5 year contract or something? Besides he’s too big a character to “kill off”, everything in the show is about him in one way or another.
There are always flashbacks. If this was my story, I’d probably kill him off and have Belle remember him and Bae forgive him right before it happens. He is the most interesting character and I know my boyfriend would totally give up on OUAT if Rumple dies. Fortunately, I don’t think it’s going to happen because it would tick views off and it seems like an obvious choice after the undoing comment by the seer.
Ser-dragon: Glad to make you laugh. Perhaps my pic should be of cheddar cheese popcorn.

Some people aren’t mature enough at 25 to handle kids but it seems unfair to deny people sexual rights based what is right for one person and not another, but that is for a different board and a different time.
I will agree you have a valid claim but what would you say about Cinderella? In another time and place, marriage amongst adolescents would have been the norm. Cinderella being married to Prince Thomas and pregnant with their first child at 17 or 18 would have been accepted and welcomed in the EF. While the story of Cinderella is only a fairytale, it would have been similar in the real world a hundred years ago. Young people grew up faster, men settled down with women and started families at a younger age. Today, however, society has totally shifted. It is only in our modern day when young people of 18, the legal age of adulthood, are expected to remain immature. That is why in modern Western culture, teenage pregnancy, both inside and outside of marriage, is unacceptable. Even young adults as old as 29 can still be stuck in perpetual adolescence, because the culture at large almost expects them to be “living it up” and not taking responsibilities so seriously. That is why in cursed SB, Ashley was being pressured to give up her baby. Yet, she wanted to take on the responsibility of motherhood and marry her baby’s father, whom ironically, was really already her husband.
Today, young people still fall in love, but they don’t have the cultural norms or expectation to help guide them towards maturity. Birth control allows people to have sex without the consequence of conception. However, when life happens and a woman of 18 gets pregnant (if contraception fails, for example), that child is often a reality check to what responsibility is. In Neal’s case, he didn’t know about his son, otherwise there’s no way he’d have left to let Emma give up Henry for adoption. There’s no doubt in my mind Neal would have proposed to Emma, as was the custom in Baelfire’s upbringing in the EF to marry young and raise a family. Also, if August hadn’t stolen the money that Neal left for her, Emma would have been financially able to keep Henry. So, my own opinion is that Emma and Neal had real love, but that circumstances about Emma’s destiny, bad choices, and August’s interference kept them apart. Perhaps Emma would have still found SB if she’d kept Henry and settled down with Neal, but then perhaps not. So, for the purpose of the story, Neal let Emma go. Was that the mature decision? Maybe not, but then, maybe yes. It’s difficult to tell since it’s all fiction.
Well said. I just don’t know why everyone one is so down on Swanfire. I really wish there was a way to like posts.

I have an awful feeling it will be Rumpel. Cora will stab him with the dagger to become the new Dark One 🙁
BUT, the spoilers also said that there will be something to look for concerning Rumbelle. So maybe Rumpel will appears to be dead but not actually really dead, for good.
I hope you’re right about that if it is Rum.
Your profile pic always looks like cheddar cheese popcorn and then I realize it’s ducks. Throws me off every time. Then I feel bad for wanting to eat delicious baby ducks.
pjsparklesParticipantDON’T HURT ME
Rumple is my favorite character but part of me hopes he’s the one that dies just for dramatic effect.

Also the original reason for statutory rape laws was to protect young women, in case they got pregnant and the father won’t help with supporting the child and mother. But due to changing society, the purpose is kinda different now. I personally think that it should be higher than 18 though – I don’t mean to offend anyone but a teenager rarely knows what they want when it comes to this area. They’re to caught up on their lust to know what they want. Which is part of the reason why I dont believe that Neal/Emma were in love.

Nope, Ruby slippers… 99% certain, watched it two days ago. I think ruby slippers would get more of a chance to tie them in to a certain other fairy tale too
*sings* ~I could have danced all night ~
Just checked because it’s been bugging me for awhile and here is the dialog.
Rumple “What about the slippers”
Jefferson “Oh. Couldn’t find ’em. Heard talk they’ve already been moved to another land.”
Rumple: “That’s what I needed to get to that other land.”Doesn’t mention the type. I won’t be disappointed either way but the title could be Silver instead of Ruby. I doubt it will be either.
pjsparklesParticipantJust a stray thought…did the Doctor episode mention that the slippers were ruby? They may be silver like the original story.
pjsparklesParticipantHonestly, I don’t consider 17 to be statutory rape. It depends on the 17 year old and if the older party is trying to take advantage. Also the state I’m from, 17 is legal. 17 isn’t necessarily less mature than 18 and in some cases someone’s 17 is better than another person’s 21. The fact is regardless of the circumstances, could Emma and Neal have truly loved each other? From all we’ve seen I say yes. IMHO neither Emma nor Neal did anything that discounts this fact. Leaving, I could see myself leaving someone I truly love (especially if I’m convinced they are better off or it’s their destiny–Neal clearly believes in fate). The fact that Neal gave Emma his car and a large sum of money is not cowardly abandonment. He wanted her to do well. As a woman burned by love before, I can tell you that when I’ve still loved someone, I would have acted the same way Emma did in the bar. If she was over him, she’d be all “screw you, I don’t need this”. The fact is she showed weakness then. She demanded answers and demonstrated that having this information was important to her. She still cares. Does this mean they’ll get back together? I have no clue.
pjsparklesParticipantThe large quill always reminds me of The Little Mermaid. Regina should be Ursala if any current character is going to be here BUT I could see Rumple or Cora playing that roll now. As for that contract, maybe it’s when she makes a trade her first born for power.
