So from Manhattan we see that Rumple learns the future and that’s what convinces him that a curse is the only way.
[adrotate group="5"]pjsparklesParticipantPut my two cents into your questions and raise you an unanswered.
“What were the final preparations the fairies needed to make?@JacobPotterOncer wrote:
Who wrote the Once Upon A Time book and how did it fall into Mary Margaret’s possession?
I think the typewriter did or maybe Blue or August under the influence of the first two. I believe August been in SB before. It’s possible that this was the final preparations BF mentioned in the first season.
So I pose another unanswered: “What were BF’s final preparations with the fairies?Who was King Leopold’s first wife/Snow White’s real mom?
I think we will find out very soon and if you look around I’m sure you can find spoilers on this.
What evil fairy did Snow White get her fairy dust from? (Snow Falls)
Maleficent was supposed to be a fairy according the Disney story. Maybe it was her? Since she and Regina are frienamies.
What happened to Jefferson’s wife?
I believe she got left behind in Wonderland. Perhaps she is the wise woman Jaq spoke of. It’s likely it was another world though. Maybe she died in the process of trying to leave a world with unequal number.
How and why did the Queen of Hearts/Cora take Henry Sr. to Wonderland?
What is Lancelot’s love story and is he really dead?
I don’t think he’s really dead and I think it has something to do with Guinevere.
Who was the person that King George loved?
Something makes me guess the woman he loved eventually became Marco’s wife or perhaps has so relation/link to this woman since both could not have children.
Did Granny really lie to Red about her mother?
I think it may have been a concealed truth. She didn’t tell Red she was a wolf either so I believe Granny told a half truth or lie about her mom. Yes.
When did Charming have the chance to kill King George previously?
Back in EF, when they were taking over George’s kingdom.
What is the history between Cora and Rumpel? Why did they kiss? How did they end up hating each other?
Spoilers out there for this I’m sure. Those aside. The last name Mills refers may have something to do with being a miller’s daughter and even in the official podcast K&H mention Cora is a miller’s daughter. My guess then would be it has something to do with the original Rumple story.
Who did Jack get the mushroom from?
Alice, Cora, or Mrs. Jefferson?
Why does Cora want magic beans?
Total domination? Maybe she just really wants to back to FTL.

I have the same feeling that she want to kill Cora and not Snow. She said that she want that she stand out of the way. I think she is trying to protect Henry too lose the person he loves most and get like herself.
I like this theory. I don’t know if Regina wants that now but perhaps she will come to make that choice. Regina truly loves Henry and I think the loss of any of his family would completely ruin her chances of being in his life.
pjsparklesParticipantI can’t describe how incredibly happy I am about this! I know Henry’s dad being Bae and Bae being Peter weren’t novel theories, but I feel happy knowing I thought them up independently. Go us! Though Bae could still be a lost boy. I’d be cool with that. I think Bae may have gone to other lands besides neverland. I just think Neverland was one of the first stops.

Here’s hoping Regina is playing it smart.
Here, Here! I just don’t think we’ll get a glimpse of that yet. It’s most likely Cora is going to turn on Hook before Regina turns on Cora.

I think the blue fairy has a very rigid view of right and wrong and doesn’t allow emotions to cloud her judgement. The fairies are not humans and emotions are so very human. Blue fairy has been stated to be on the side of good yet her actions come across making people think otherwise. Nobody doubts Snow, Charming, the dwarves or Red for being on the side of good so why Blue Fairy?
Grumpy and Nova- Blue Fairy was dead set against those two being together. Why? Because love is such a human emotion. Love, or the loss of it, stops people from acting rationally and logically and start acting on emotions. It was Rumple’s love of Bae that led him to create the dark curse in order to be reunited with his son. It was Regina’s loss of Daniel that began her on the path to becoming the Evil Queen. Love can be a destructive force.
The ends justifies the means- Blue Fairy believes she’s working for the greater good. If sacrificing Henry meant the rest of fairytale land’s inhabitants were forever safe, would Blue do it? I think she would. She’d probably look for alternative methods first but if it came down to it, she would sacrifice Henry for the greater good. Snow, Charming and Emma wouldn’t because they are blinded by love. Love has no place in fairies’ lives. The “Bad” fairies could be fairies that have been affected by love hence why they went bad. What if Nova was the bad fairy Snow got the fairydust from?
The middle rational approach does seem more like Blue, but why side with Snow and Charming? Regina was made evil and Blue did nothing to stop that. I don’t know. I doubt Nova was the bad fairy since she was back with the fairies in SB. Maleficent was supposed to be a fairy in the Disney movie. Maybe that’s who…
That’s for another thread though.Despite the beanstalk being enchanted and BF having her own view of right and wrong, she allowed Rumple to pursue a curse with no mention of a wardrobe. Getting ride of Rumple early would have save everyone from their horrible fate. If BF really would sacrifice Henry for the greater good, I can’t see how she wouldn’t hand over a bean to Rumple (later on) or tell him of the magic trees.

The colors on the clothes have ment something before so lets hope. Im still hoping Regina is just playing her mother.
I don’t think she is, but I believe she’ll get free of Cora. It just probably won’t be until the end of this season or maybe even next season. Regina has even said her mother’s hold on her heart is too strong. I thinking being with Cora and being so broken, really has pushed her to the bad side. I mean Regina is an addict. She enjoys magic and aligning with Cora means she can use magic. In the sneak peek, Regina’s face lights up when she is praised by Cora. The addiction to magic, broken spirit, and need for mommy’s love and approval is too strong right now.

Unfortunately I think the wardrobe was a plot device, and now there’s some plot holes surrounding it and the beans too.
Like for number 1, if they can make the beans grow quicker, presumably, since those take 100 years to grow, then I would think that with magic that the trees could be made to grow faster.
Don’t even get me started on why neither Rumple nor the Blue Fairy knew about the magical beanstalk or how Rumple somehow didn’t know about the trees with special properties that would take people to a different land. .
I didn’t even consider the bean plot hole. If Jack and James got up the beanstalk, Rumple definitely could.
In the Crocodile episode, Rumple is clearly believes that the beans no longer exist in this land and the only way to get one is from another land. When the deal with Smee results in no bean for Rumple, he never thought to look for beans in his land. He is normally so observant so I find this hard to swallow. Granted Rumple is not as cunning of a sorcerer he would become. Could it be that he just becomes set exploring other lands via portals (looking glass & hat) for beans & other transportation items and creating a curse that doesn’t bother searching EF?
Maybe as we learn more about what happened to rumple after The Crocodile, the bean issue will be resolved. Blue Fairy just said the beans got away from them (that could mean just the fairies?) so maybe Rumple is the reason the Giants distrust humans (not that he’s all human).
pjsparklesParticipantNext to Regina, Rumple/Gold is my favorite character. So I guess I go that way
I am hooked 😉 though. He’s supposed to be appealing but then again he’s a creeper too.
Final answer: Gold
pjsparklesParticipantDoes anyone notice how Cora is wearing all black in the sneak peeks but Regina is wearing black and red. Back in FTL, Regina said she finds that black suits her. She also wore other colors and even red an black together. In the show, the savior’s jacket is red and was Emma’s token color. Maybe I’m just reading too much into this, but could Regina’s red shirt a hint that she still had good in her and her heart isn’t as black as Cora’s?
