I know there many far more intelligent and much better at writing then I am. So I was wondering what connections could be made from Neal Cassady to literature, movies etc. If anything has is a repeat then pardon I meant no disrespect more than anything I would like to know what are the thoughts etc.

I found this. It seemed the life seemed correlate greatly with the character. However I am sorry to say I have not read these particular works but I am going to attempt to. I was wondering if there might be any indication to who Neal might be.

    Thank you.

Oh, ok, because I think Jefferson Airplane has more to do with Jefferson than Neal (Neal has way more to do with the Grateful Dead, which, in turn, connects him to Peter Pan), as far as the White Rabbit goes.

    Jefferson= ‘Jefferson’ Airplane
    Sang White Rabbit
Jefferson’s daughter is Grace = Grace Slick – lead singer of JA
Regina used a White Rabbit Tarot Card (on Grace/Page’s bike at school) to communicate with Jefferson.
Regina (Lana Parilla) played Greta on LOST.
She worked at the Looking Glass Station.
The Looking Glass Station’s logo was a white rabbit.
It was a communication station…..she used a white rabbit Tarot Card as a means of ‘communication’ with Jefferson.
Guess I just don’t see the significant use of the WR between Regina and Jefferson if Jefferson doesn’t represent the White Rabbit

Sorry to be a bother but Once Upon a Time confirmed that Jefferson was the Mad Hatter. He became the mad hatter after being trapped in Wonderland. So then he was the white rabbit prior to this and thus is both characters? If I remember correctly, was the white rabbit featured in the show? I thought I read that. Jefferson was seen as a human from the beginning. Unless the other possibility is the ability to shift (maybe as a means of fitting the land traveled to?)

Oh dear, it’s either the death of Regina, the death of Cora, Snow White or maybe Snow’s mother.

I have a feeling it is Snow’s mother and we might see that Cora is responsible as a way of ensuring Regina becomes queen. Cora if anything is very meticulous when she uses her pawns for her agenda.

I only ship canon couples–Snow White and Prince Charming, Belle and Rumpelstiltskin, Nova and Grumpy/Dreamy, Princess Abigail and Frederick, Princess Aurora and Prince Philip, and so on for other couples that may appear in the future. 🙂

This completely. Especially when it actually concerns canon. Though I personally do think there is a bit of a difference between fantasizing between two possible characters for a bit of fun and fluff (say for instance well written fanfiction if explained nicely and characterized well). However to have extend to the point where every moment is scrutinized in canon is where I draw the line. (Again I feel as if there is a difference between enjoying good nature flirtation say between Emma and Hook but not actually trying to create something that has not been written or actually seen is what I feel as if is too much).

Who’s name and what are the references? 🙂

    Are you talking about Jefferson?

Or are you talking about Neal’s name because JA’s bassist’s name is Jack ‘Casady’?

Yes exactly. I thought it was a reference to Jefferson Airplane and their Alice in Wonderland song. Though I have thought it was either a reference to the White Rabbit or possibly March Hare or a means of throwing off people to his real FTL counterpart.

I wonder though if Rumple is the tragic hero, would Cora be the one to face punishment because of her hubris then what would Regina be? Would her tragedy be that of a daughter killing her mother (like Electra for instance though I am not aware off the top of my head of other similar stories)

Updated Returning to a Home Never Known with chapter three and going to shoot for a couple more chapters. I am also working on Hidden Knowledge with the same idea. Shooting for a larger update. Hopefully will get some feedback.

I do like this theory and I did notice the white rabbit references (his name is attached to Jefferson Airplane who has the song about Alice as well as referencing the Mad Hatter). The only thing that concerns me is why didn’t August destroy soon after if he knew it belonged to Cora. Unless there was an endgame plan where having the heart in his hands (and essentially on the good side) meant that Cora had to die by true love’s power i.e. Emma. Also does that mean that August was in Thailand for so long searching for the heart? (Maybe he went to Himmapan — http://www.himmapan.com/himmapan_creatures.html and wanted to forget what he encountered?)

You kinda lost me, there, but, if Neal is the White Rabbit, he wouldn’t need a bean to get to Wonderland, he would use the rabbit hole.

A bit confused but do you mean that Neal would be Bae and White Rabbit?

If Neal was the white rabbit I would love to see him then be a double agent where while working for Cora he is recruited by Rumpelstiltskin to meet Emma and guide her into her destiny.

To be honest Cora’s definition of help is very skewed and warped. To her she comes across like the mom in Serial Mom, and Dell from Tideland. In that she will kill anyone who gets in the way of her plan and ideals (even Regina herself) and if Regina must be gotten rid of then Cora may preserve her the way Dell did (she did a taxidermy of her mother and the girl’s father)–maybe not taxidermy but much in the same vein where Regina is preserved and possibly more easy to manipulate.
