^That’s a good theory. 🙂
Personally, I think the title is referring to Belle’s feelings of loneliness and abandonment after separating from Rumpel and being locked up by the Evil Queen. She’s spent her entire life as a prisoner. First it was living under the thumb of her father, then it was living with Rumpel and then it was when Regina locked her up. She’s been treated like an outisder her entire life. 🙁
As sad that is 🙁 I like this theory. With her being who she (her status) is in her village she was likely treated as an outsider by the other villagers. And as a woman she would have been treated as an outsider by the men of her life. She told Rumple that women were limited in what they could do and she seemed to be interested in things that not many women pursued. Then in some ways she became an outsider in Rumple’s castle because of his fear of true love. She became an outsider during her travels (the usual apprehension that villagers have towards strangers).
She definitely has been a prisoner her whole life. 😥

ParticipantI had some thoughts but decided against it (it wouldn’t change anything, and only create more strife) but I am curious though regarding the negativity against Hook fans. Are they personally directed at the posters/actor (i.e. actually insulting etc), towards the fandom itself or Hook the character.
If anything is ever directed to you personally or the actor I would hope the post would be reported since it would definitely be breaking the terms of service.
Now if it is against the fandom itself then yes it would be a generalization but it would only be directed towards those with that behavior (and every fandom has those kinds of people). Understandably it can be annoying but if it does not break the terms of service it might simply take some effort to ignore it. I know it can be hard. (I definitely feel for that.)
Now if it is Hook himself then that is something that should be allowed no matter what. If it does not break the terms of service then have enough grace to accept it without the intimidation and defensiveness (which I have already seen in here).
Everyone is entitled to an opinion (especially if directed to plot or character). If ever any post breaks the terms of service then definitely report it or if you are not sure there is no harm in contacting a moderator and voicing a concern. That way people learn how to convey an opinion. 🙂

ParticipantI think the pair is awesome. The look Whale gave Red when she said she ate her boyfriend was absolutely priceless.

No, it would still be extremely creepy to have Emma be romantically involved with her baby daddy’s, mother’s former lover.
When phrased like this… it sounds as if you would find it on those daytime television shows (Jerry Springer or similar).
It definitely shows how the six degrees of separation can create for some awkward connections.
Personally I like the idea of CaptainSwan only in so much they make an interesting pair however I do not think they would be able to go long-term (Hook and his deal with children and Emma’s life being Henry as someone else mentioned). They can at least some fun times though…

ParticipantMy mind immediately went to his being in a shallow pool of jello because I was reminded of a pool of noodles from Patch Adams

ParticipantThere a few options I do like.
Bae’s descendant meaning that Bae either lived his life straight away or became another character (say Peter Pan, met Wendy, true love etc). Only because I have a theory that the greater of power you are given, the greater the cost. What larger cost would it be for Rumple to lose his son? And now it seems he has lost Belle as well.
Baelfire himself is only because it’d be a sweet happy ending for Rumple but would his finding him be at the cost of losing Belle or will Belle eventually remember?
We were finally told that Neal is Henry’s father. So we will have to wait and see who is counterpart is (either a character itself or a descendant–of maybe another character)

ParticipantI am wondering something about Rumple. I wonder if Zozo (the previous Dark One) chose Rumple because he not only saw a desperate soul but a clever, intelligent one who unlike him could use the full potential of the curse?

ParticipantI think it depends on the world it is in. Rumple did say that magic is unpredictable in this world. Now I was wondering if it was all magic or certain kinds of magic. Does the state of the world we live in make it easier to power up certain types of magic? (Like true love seems to exist much more frequently in Fairytale land and has the power to break curses, poisons etc but here honestly it is fairly rare and does not have that kind of power).
Our world is a fairly bleak place with some rays of sunshine. Would that mean that dark magic has a lot more “energy” to use as a energy source?
Depending on how magic works in this world (its unpredictability, its energy source) and the precautions Rumple took (like the misspelled name on the dagger–was it a prop error or his way of using the power of the name to make it so he could not be controlled and his burying something in the forest)… I think that is going to determine how much power the dagger has.

ParticipantThere is something I have been wondering about.
I have read about the theory of Hook and Ariel (which I love by the way and I find that it makes sense).
From we have seen it seems that Hook is not over Milah so much so he wants to end his life in the same manner to end up in the same place she is. From what I gather Hook either already knows Ariel but shunned the possibility of finding true love but that seed has been planted. The other possibility is that he not met Ariel yet. (I am guessing that she might be Neverland but for whatever reasons paths did not really cross but will or she is in Storybrooke where he will meet her).
Personally I love the idea of them not meeting yet and his meeting Ariel in Storybrooke. Perhaps with her swimming in the ocean trying to get her bearings on doing so after 28 years of having two legs (and not remembering she was a mermaid) and having us witness Hook change from someone who is rotten (though not rotten simply very heartbroken) to someone slowly changing and forgiving himself (for taking Milah–only in so much that it caused her death, and not being able to save her) and then accepting that true love can happen many times over.
Basically he would find his “Belle” in Ariel where people would question Ariel, doubt her, and possibly have an initial negative response because he’s a villain but he’s a villain with a heart, and some humanity left.

Oh the two posters are definitely the same pic, I’m not questioning that. I’m only questioning whether or not the kid in the pic is Dylan, or just some random pic of a random kid that they got from a stash of stock images they had available to them to make a poster out of.
I agree, I’ve been looking at the pictures of the poster and Dylan and they don’t match to me.
It might be only me but the poster… I thought it was a girl. Maybe a sister?
