That plan is so obviously going to backfire.

I don’t get what the writers are trying to do with Hook. It seems like they want us to think that Hook is this perfect match for Emma yet they show him endangering her son by encouraging him to go behind both his moms’ backs and embark on a course of action which in Hook’s own words is “dangerous”.

Surely as a parent, Hook doing that would only cause arguments between him and Emma, not have Emma think it’s the most romantic thing ever?

I’m starting to wonder if Mulan may just be a red herring, and she’s not necessarily part of it either…I mean Mulan’s coming back, but what if she’s already with a girl and not one getting the Main LGBT Storyline….what if it’s someone no one expects . Could it be that they’re going to change one of Disney’s Movies like Aladdin or Hercules to surprise the audience…it’d probably be more tweetable?

I think Mulan may be part of it. She’s going to be in the second half, it’s already been established that she’s into girls. It’s pointless to bring her back and not use that aspect of her personality whilst at the same time introducing two new characters. The only way I see Mulan not being involved in the LGBT relationship is if they are going for a gay relationship rather than a lesbian one.

Okay…so at least we know there’s officially no love triangle! I wonder what exactly Zelena will do this season that will scare the s*** out of us. And at least we know Zelena actually loves her child, rather than just using him/her to bring a rift between OutlawQueen.

Having Zelena actually love her child could put Regina in a bad light if she tries to take the child and stops Zelena from being an active part of her child’s life. This storyline is not going to end well for one sister.

By now you know that the powers-that-be at OUAT are finally going to officially explore a same-sex relationship, so of course we had to get the details! “We aren’t going to say who the characters are,” Kitsis teased, “We can say that we are going to set it up in the first half, but we are really going to be doing it in the second half. We like to plant the seed and let it grow, so people have to know it’ll be in the second half of the season.”

“We feel that it is important to show many different kind of love stories — whether they’re between a man and a woman, a woman and a woman, or just family love stories with a mother and a daughter, or friendship,” Kitsis said. “So we feel that it is time that we explored a relationship in that community, and we’re very excited about it because we’re treating it no different than any other love story that we do because that’s just the way of the world.” Horowitz added, “Love is love and that is how we intend to handle it.”

I’m glad they’re going to treat this LGBT relations the same as the other relationships on the show rather than signposting it with bells and whistles at every opportunity.

I’m now convinced Merida won’t be part of the LGBT relationship.

I actually wish they hadn’t had Neal refer to Mulan having her own movie because that specifically puts the Disney movies in-universe which means any movies before Mulan exist in-show so theoretically, everyone should’ve known about Cruella, Mal, Ursula, etc etc. They should know about Frozen or if Elsa was pre-Frozen, they should be surprised that the movie got it so accurate.

It’s the same deal with Brave because the Disney movies are in-universe. If they’d left them out to begin with then there wouldn’t be an issue.

Merida seems interesting and certainly not as annoying as Anna was. I get the feeling that Merida could be one half of the LGBT relationship (with Mulan being the other) but there are some factors against it so I don’t know.

Does this count? I mean she’s technically a Disney princess.

I would say for that doesn’t count for the fact that Emma magically doesn’t need glasses any more and got rid of them. Present day Emma hasn’t worn glasses since season 1.

Hogwarts would so fail and Ofsted inspection what with the amount of student endangering that happens. The school would be closed down.

Maybe Regina has a crying scene and Lana needed those to return her face to a less obvious “so she’s just cried a lot” state?

I definitely preferred this episode over last season’s Clara fest and the news that Clara is finally leaving for good means I will continue to watch Doctor Who and not give up on it.

I still don’t like Clara, she’s too know-it-all for my liking over actual professionals who seem to just sit back so that Clara can figure everything out and tell them what to do. I wish they’d have Clara give up teaching, this is probably one of the things that annoy me the most about her, because it is so ridiculously unrealistic that she can just take off anytime she wants. You can’t just walk out on a class of students, you can’t just get someone else to cover you at the drop of the hat. Where did Clara actually find the time to train as a teacher when she’s jetting off on all these adventures with the doctor? How did she even get the job in the first place when her attendance is all over the place? Why has she not been fired when she just walks out of classes because she has something better to do. To put it bluntly, Clara is a crap teacher and would actually be having a detrimental effect on her students’ education. Why does everyone treat Clara as though the sun shines out of her backside? If Clara was a character in fan-fiction, she would undeniably be a Mary-Sue.

When it comes to Clara, I’m rooting for the monsters of the week.

You know what occurred to me today? Disney does not represent girls/women that wear glasses in a positive light. They’re either old so they need the glasses to see or if they’re young, they wear glasses because they are an “ugly duckling” that transforms into a “beautiful swan”. There is no Disney princess that wears glasses. The closest we got in the Disney was the Princess Diaries but again that was the “ugly duckling” to “beautiful swan” transformation shtick where Anne Hathaway (whose not bad looking to begin with) goes from a glasses-wearing, curly haired nerd to a straight haired glasses-free princess.

Even in Once this is prevalent. You’ve got Granny- she wears glasses because she’s old. Then there’s Tallahassee flashback Emma who suddenly doesn’t need glasses anymore as she grows into a confident “strong” woman.

There’s always talk about representing different races/culture/genders(transgender) etc and that is important, but how about we actually get some representation of a woman in glasses that doesn’t make her a nerd/a genius. How about we get a woman in glasses that is treated as perfectly normal and average like everybody else? How about we get a Disney princess that wears glasses and continues to wear them throughout the movie?
