And, yes, I’m biased, but almost all my favorite things are when Belle gets to have adventures with various princesses. Belle + Anna, Belle + Mulan, Belle + Ariel–all perf.
Whilst Belle’s backstory with Mulan was a nice surprise, and Belle teaming up with Ariel was such a Belle thing to do, I found the backstory with Anna a bit forced, same with Charming’s backstory with Anna. I disliked how the writers made it look like Belle and Charming are only the people they are today because of Anna. Anna was such a Mary-sue, she was annoying. She was more annoying than GOAT.

Because he finally understand that there are shades of grey between black and white. Sadly it took two seasons, being rescued from Peter Pan, and his mom defeating his aunt for him to realize this.

Keeper of FelixThanks for the suggestions, it actually helped me find the word I was looking for. I rejigged part of the sentence so Robin’s reasoning and intentions come across.

Keeper of Felix@PriceofMagic, I think object fits more in what you’re trying to say. If it’s something he can’t do, but Regina poofs away so he couldn’t refuse, he was preparing to object.
Thanks for the suggestions. I don’t know if “object” is quite the right word either. The situation is that Henry is being taken to hospital by ambulance and Regina tells Robin to stay with him. Before Robin can tell Regina that he can’t go because of the kids, she’s teleported away.
Robin isn’t refusing to go, which suggests he doesn’t want to go, it’s he can’t go.

Keeper of FelixI need help! I need a word and I can’t think of the right word. The situation that I need this word for is Regina tells Robin to do something but teleports away before Robin can tell her that he can’t. At the moment I’ve got the word “protest” as in “Before Robin could protest, Regina had teleported away”.
However, I feel “protest” has the wrong connotations, that it implies that Robin doesn’t want to do as Regina asked rather than the fact that Robin can’t do what she asked because of circumstances ie two young kids, no babysitter. Robin can’t leave the kids alone, but can’t really take them with him because it would not be appropriate.
Robin deals with the problem by phoning Emma to get her to do what Regina wanted him to do, which is a reasonable response, but I need the right word to describe the action of him trying to tell Regina that he can’t do what she wanted him to do. so “before Robin could [blank], Regina had teleported away”.
Can anyone help? Please?
