I’ve not actually seen the movie Brave so I’m wondering if the writers are actually going to flesh the character out enough so that you get the gist of what happened in the movie without needing to see it or whether they’re going to rely too heavily on the assumption that people have seen the movie and know what’s going on and Merida is going to come across half-baked.

When Regina is walking down the street in welcome to Storybrooke flashbacks, one of the season 4 deleted scenes tells us that is 1999. That is the episode she met a young owen which is two years before Henry was born. It now makes sense the scene in Save Henry where Regina decides to get a child after talking to Archie.

Jaq was a one off character, in one episode, from 3 seasons ago. The writers probably think we don’t remember her let alone what she happened to wear. As usual, they underestimate the obsessiveness of this fandom to notice small things like that.

What if, and this might be stretching, but what if there was more to Jaq than first appeared and the similar costume to Guinevere isn’t just a case of reusing an old costume? We know Jaq was in a sexual relationship with Prince James but you’ve got to wonder how it got to that point. A peasant couldn’t just stroll up to a prince and begin a relationship with him. Perhaps Jaq did have connections to royalty of the Camelot kind for James to at least give her the time of day but not enough for George to want that relationship to continue?

The writers might come up with a retrospective explanation for the same clothing, much like they came up with an explanation for the different Robins.

Good point. Well I well at least still say perhaps Emma is time traveling. And possibly with a motive. Hook’s knows a lot about the dagger. Maybe he has information that Present!Hook won’t give her, so she travels back in time to consult with Past!Hook, knowing darn well he’d be attracted to her. Depending on where this is in time, it could be after the time they met in the tavern the last time she time traveled so he is probably going to be more friendly toward her and willing to give information about such things.

If Emma time travels and is around Past Hook, I would like to see her realise that Hook wasn’t always a knight in shining armour and that he did do some dark things of his own volition. There has been a severe lack of consequences for Hook’s past actions, there has been no acknowledgement that at one point, he was not a good guy. I get that Hook wouldn’t be very forthcoming with his past misdeeds, but he gets treated as if he’s done nothing wrong and any bad stuff he did do wasn’t his fault.

OOH. OOOOH!!!! Wouldn’t it be awesome if Emma time travels to the past…. and encounters Rumpel as the Dark One. Imagine that. Two Dark Ones in the same space at the same time. Please OUAT Gods, let that happen. Imagine Rumps face.

What if Emma inadvertently tells Rumple about the hat and that is what makes him so gung-ho for it in 4A.

I really wish they’d have Emma find the strength on her own to beat the DO curse. She’s meant to be uber powerful with the light magic, and what better way to demonstrate that than having her being able to defeat this centuries old dark power, all wrapped up in an inspirational story about self belief.

I agree. I don’t think they should have Henry give her TLK for the reason that if a child/parent TLK could work, then why didn’t Bae try it on Rumple and why did the blue Fairy not suggest it?

I don’t think Hook should TLK Emma because that would be too easy and if it didn’t work for RumBelle even though it started to, why the hell should it work for CS?

As for the Emma and Hook in white stuff, perhaps the darkness is puppetting Emma’s body and has put Emma’s personality into a dream state so that Emma can’t take control? Emma has to “wake up” by realising that the paradise state she is in is not real. Emma absorbed the pure unleashed darkness whereas Rumple only took on the imprisoned version hene why Emma’s dark Swan may not be the same as Rumple’s dark one?

Hook did say to Baelfire that his father abandoned him too when he was a boy so it would fit canon. The only thing that feels off about the whole speech is Hook’s part at the end when he is describing his feelings. It just feels a bit too soppy and melodramatic for Hook’s character. Plus the fact that in show they’ve never really given Hook time to truly emote over anything, especially in regards to the whole Baelfire situation, to the point that anytime Hook is required to show emotion it comes across as contrived and somewhat superficial.

Perhaps that is what rubs people the wrong way about Hook. It’s not just shipping related, it’s the fact that he doesn’t feel genuine in his emotions and that none of his actions seem to have consequences that he feels sorry for.

On a side note, if the writers decide not to have Hook’s father abandon him, then essentially Hook lied to Baelfire. He willingly deceived the boy so that he could get the information he wanted. That actually puts Hook in a negative light.

I don’t think Regina is necessarily being ungrateful, it’s just that panic anger. Like how if a child does something dangerous but is fine, their parent is all “How could you be so stupid?!” whilst still being glad they’re okay at the same time.

Also it could be suggested that Regina doesn’t see herself as someone that is worth being sacrificed for. She will sacrifice herself to save others like Henry but she doesn’t expect anyone to sacrifice themselves for her hence “how could she be so stupid?”

It’s lavender. She’s been sporting that for a while (even before SDCC). It is a great dress, though.

Apparently there is a trend where people are dying their hair the colour of my little ponies. Perhaps Ginny wanted to join that trend?

The 7th episode of the Season is normally a wild card. Season 1 it was Graham, Season 2 it was Red, Season 3 it was Belle, and Season 4 it was Ingrid.

Ah yes, the curse of episode 7 was a thing we made up. Whose ever centric it was then left the show. Graham, Ruby, Ingrid. Belle seems to be the only one who has gone against the trend (though her screentime seems to be virtually non-existent half the time).
