I strongly suspect there was a reason but the plans for Will were dropped like the proverbial hot potato when the fan reaction (from Rumbellers, yes, but from the WillAna shippers whom A and E never took into consideration) let loose

Actually, I feel like they wanted Emma Rigby to appear in the 2nd half of the Season, but they ran into a scheduling conflict, so they put on hold their original plans for Will. The ScarletBeauty thing could have just been plan b, when they needed to figure out something else for Will to do in the meantime.

The thing that never made sense about the Will/Belle “relationship” is, if Ana was dead, why not say that in dialogue. If Ana was stuck in Wonderland and Will was stuck in Storybrooke trying to find a way back to her, then why was Will trying to hook up with Belle?

Will’s role on Once could easily have been the same using one of the other merry men like Little John.

HOWEVER in knoing that they possibly wanted to do Camelot this season, it ould have been a potential hint. Rumpel said that his trip to Camelot was “Good for him, not so good for Camelot” so not only did he go there, he caused some trouble.
We have pics of RC in Dark One clothing and makeup from the set right? Maybe we should compare that to what he was wearing in the episode flashback where we first see the gauntlet. If hes wearing the same thing, we might see Rumps time in Camelot in the season premiere and what he did to them. And if he did something bad, maybe the knights want revenge and therefore will help the people of SB defeat the Darkness. Or find Merlin. Or whatever is going on.

That is a very good theory. I like it!

Im really out of this theory thing lately >> its been so hard tro formulate proper theories for OUAT.

I agree. I do wonder if maybe the burning passion we all had for Once is maybe starting to die down as we become more and more dissatisfied with the show in its current state. Whereas once we used to create theories even obscure ones based on one picture or a minor thing, now we’re more “wait and see”. Whereas once hiatuses used to be tortuous, now they’re seen as welcomed breaks. In going to the 11/11 format and trying to fit separate story arcs into each 11 with little to no relation to the events that happened before, the show has lost its emotionality and as such, we the audience do not feel such a connection or even care about the characters as we once did.

I used to dread the day Once Upon a Time would end but now I don’t. I still don’t know what I would do with my time without Once but I honestly can’t see Once lasting much longer. Either they’ll announce that the second half of season 5 is the “final season” or season 6 will be the last like it was on Lost. At this stage the only Disney princess they haven’t done yet is Jasmine so they would probably bring Jafar back at some point. There must’ve been a reason why they included Will on the show.

    1) Harley Quinn is perfection and I’m kind of in love with her right now.

I’m looking forward to finally seeing Harley Quinn on screen. She’s been my favourite “Batman” character since the Batman: The Animated Series days. The fact that they also have the Joker in the movie and look like they’ll be showing some of their time together is a bonus. Harley/Joker was one of the first ships I ever shipped.

    3) No one is going to top Heath Ledger as the Joker

I used to think that (and still think the Dark Knight rises would’ve been a better movie if it wasn’t for the big Joker shaped hole in it, there was an actual place for the Joker in that storyline but alas it couldn’t be). Anyway, I just have a gut feeling that Jared Leto is going to rock it as the Joker and at the very least will be compared favourably to Heath Ledger’s Joker. It’s a different take but I think it needs to be.

I also think Jared Leto has a harder job than Heath Ledger did. Ledger had to follow the likes of Jack Nicholson and Mark Hamill’s animated Joker, whilst that in itself was difficult to do as for many that was the set standard, Ledger had the benefit that it was 20+ years after Nicholson and that mainstream audiences wouldn’t have necessarily seen Hamill’s animated Joker as he was in a cartoon which at the time was viewed as children’s television. Also Ledger’s take on the character and the movie universe he would be in was more gritty so there was enough to separate him from what had gone before.

Jared Leto has to contend with the fact that everyone has probably seen the Dark Knight, and now Ledger’s Joker has become the standard. It’s also only been 8 years since we saw Ledger’s Joker by the time the movie comes out. Also, Suicide Squad looks to be less gritty than the Nolanverse and more fun, so Leto’s Joker isn’t going to be the same as Ledger’s.

Time will tell and everyone will have their own individual opinion on how Leto’s Joker compares to Ledger’s Joker.

Perhaps Camelot is in some sort of time loop?

Got a new laptop today after my other one died! I’m having to get used to Windows 8 now.

I agree about that tumblr post. It’s a shame that Neal isn’t mentioned at all especially by Henry or Rumple even if it’s just in terms of how much Henry reminds Rumple of Baelfire.

The main issue that I find with CaptainSwan isn’t that it involves Hook per se after everything he’s done, it’s that there is no acknowledgement of past events, it’s just seemingly forgotten. I think that is a major disservice to all the characters.

Also why is Emma in peasant drag and not her Dark Swan costume?

Perhaps that is Emma’s White Swan costume?

Crack Theory: What if Rumple’s coma isn’t just a coma as a result of having the darkness ripped out of him? What if his soul/essence etc is trapped within Emma when she absorbed the darkness? What if Emma has a split personality going on where the other personality is Rumple or Dark Swan sees Rumple as a “imaginary friend” whereas everyone else can’t see him and only see him in the coma. What if there is kind of two Rumples? The Rumple in the coma and the evil Rumple that’s hanging out with Emma/ in Emma’s mind?

Perhaps Camelot exists in some sort of time loop a bit like Storybrooke did during the curse, the same day but with variations?

They can’t make Camelot similar to Neverland (Time standing still/doesn’t exist) otherwise it makes Pan (a villain set up as a chessmaster type) look extremely dumb that he went through the hassle of changing Neverland’s rules, gathering lost boys, searching for the heart of the truest believer for centuries because he was going to die, ehrn he could’ve avoided it all and moved to Camelot.
