ParticipantDo you think they might have Dark Emma try and bring back Neal? Obviously she won’t succeed (unless a secret deal with MRJ to appear has happened) but bring back the dead seems a pretty dark thing to try and do.

ParticipantHmmmm. I didn’t even think about that. Good point, POM…. I could think of a few solutions but i’d rather not get into the mechanics of dragon mating on this forum xD but hmmm, back to the drawing board for this one. Ive been brainstorming paternity ideas for Maleficent.
What if Lily was conceived when Maleficent was in human form? Her father might just be a regular human.

ParticipantI disagree Watcher.
Maleficent wasn’t pregnant until around the time of Snowing, during which Rumple had been the dark one for over a century. Rumple became the dark one by stabbing Zoso, it is also likely this is how Zoso became the dark one by stabbing the dark one before him etc. The original dark one was already a long time dead before Maleficent became pregnant therefore couldn’t possibly be the father.

ParticipantCurrently on the second episode of Merlin.
Good show.Merlin was a good show up until the final season at which point it started to fell like it needed to end. The series finale was very disappointing.

ParticipantWith Emma as the new Dark one, now would be the perfect time to have Neal in the story as he would’ve experienced what Henry would be going through (having a parent as the dark one) with Rumple. This would’ve been the perfect bonding story for Neal and Henry.

ParticipantPotentially for a Beowulf episode?
No? Rumpel as the beast Grendel, his mother seeking revenge for his death?
“Hey, that’s a great idea!”
“Yeah, maybe a greater focus on mythology than on pop culture would reinvigorate the show.”
“Sorry, I don’t see the connection.” “Well, since you ask,…”
I thought they had the Grendel on Once Upon a time in Wonderland?

ParticipantIf they don’t get Karen Gillan for Rumple’s mom, they might get Kelly Macdonald. She played the grey lady in Harry Potter and the deathly Hallows part 2. She was also in Nanny McPhee and Trainspotting.

ParticipantI wish Neal was still alive on the show. The fact that he would have to go through this situation with Emma after having gone through it with Rumple, it’s a nice parallel.

ParticipantSounds like Emma wont WANT to give up the darkness.
I don’t think the darkness wants to give up Emma.
The dark one curse is like a parasite, it feeds off its host until there is nothing left or it finds a new host. It’s not going to just let Emma go on her merry way, it’s going to do all it can to keep Emma in its grasp.

ParticipantI am seriously speculating why on earth there is a pig frog and I think I have it:
Dark Emma is placing her first curse on someone and being extremely theatrical. Calling it now. The pig frog is someone who gets on her nerves and we see what she can do with her new powers. I’m going to leave it at that so this doesn’t drive me crazy :3The pig-frog is Once’s version of a muppet. It’s the offspring of Kermit and Miss Piggy.
