I was dreading this episode because of how people were reacting to it and was surprised to find I didn’t hate it.
Overall I’d give it a 7/10. It was a solid episode but nothing to really rave about.
I liked the Hook/Henry scenes and the fact they FINALLY had Henry express some dislike of Hook before working it out. Hook has really grown on me this season and this is probably the centric of his I like the most.
The Liam 2.0 storyline was okay. I liked the fact that both he and Nemo survived and essentially got their happy ending.
The Rumple/EQ kiss was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. It wasn’t romantic, it was a power play much like Cora did in season 2. I think the press release was wrong when it says EQ and Rumple have a “burgeoning romance” just like it was wrong when it said Belle was afraid of Rumple.
I’m glad Belle is wanting Rumple to be a part of Morfetus’ life.

Doubtful. Snow probably wants something from Belle and is trying to use the flowers to butter her up since nobody gives a toss about Belle any other time apart from Rumple and Hook. Hook has really stepped up this season surprisingly.

Keeper of FelixI’ll be honest and say I wouldn’t be sad if OUAT were to end after this season. At least then the show would go out with whatever shred of dignity it had left.
The low ratings don’t surprise me. It’s a result of the poor quality of storytelling we’ve had in the past few seasons. Season 6 is slightly better, but it’s like shutting the gate after the horse has bolted. The quality storytelling was needed a few seasons ago not just now.

Keeper of FelixThis felt like a general filler episode, it was okay but nothing that really stuck out.
Favourite moment is EQ and Zelena at the spa. Probably the highlight of the episode.
Aladdin and Jasmine seem decent enough characters and had some nice moments. Jafar’s actor also does a decent job.
Henry wasn’t annoying this episode and the moment between him and Emma was nice, though I think it would’ve been more powerful if Emma hadn’t ditched him for Hook for the last few seasons.
I dislike the fact there was no Rumple or Belle, though it is one less episode used to destroy them so YMMV.
The shears are going to come into play for Robin Hood’s return. The 3 fates were in Hercules which featured Hades who was last season’s villain. God I wish we could just have a spinoff with Cruella and Mordred in the Underwood, it would be more fun and less melodramatic than OUAT currently is.
Overall I’d give the episode 5/10, I neither hated nor loved it, it’s just kind of there.

They still haven’t. Only Hook has helped her and that seems to be because he hasn’t consulted with Emma, Snowing or Regina. At this stage Hook is the only “hero” that cares about Belle’s welfare.

Keeper of FelixSo far season 6 is shaping up to be the best season since season 1. This was a decent episode though I do have a few nitpicks.
Hyde was great and I think it was a mistake to kill him off this early.
Hook is actually likeable this season. Emma isn’t. What’s going on? Why is this happening? It’s not a bad thing that Hook is now likeable but they needed him to be likeable 3 seasons ago. Better late than never I suppose.
What are the writers trying to do to RumBelle? They’ve not had chance for any prolonged happiness ever now they hate each other? Emilie and Robert’s acting is the only thing that can bring RumBelle back from the brink as it seems like the writers are intent on destroying the ship.
Snow’s letting the kids play with a bow and arrow. Not only is it a dangerous weapon that they are untrained in and with which somebody could get hurt, but it doesn’t even demonstrate Newton’s law “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction”. A more accurate representation would be punching someone in the face and getting punched back. Snow is still on the bird houses, that is hardly helpful to the kids’ education “I’m sorry your child can’t read or write but they can build a very nice birdhouse”. Yes, that’ll get them far in life.
Episodes are better when there is hardly any Henry in them. Henry is bringing the show down at this point, season 6 has been good so far because he’s hardly in it.

Keeper of FelixA relatively decent episode. Season 6 so far has actually been one of the better seasons in a long time, not trying to fit a whole season’s arc into 11 episodes is definitely paying off.
Liking the Hyde/EQ pair up. I could ship them together even though they are currently just partners in crime. Loved how Hyde offered EQ his arm like a gentleman.
I’m hoping a RumBelle reunion is on the cards considering how Belle spoke of how important a father/son relationship is to Charming. Also Rumple sending something to his child, if A&E deny him the chance to be a father to his child, I’d be annoyed.
So is Mouse an official EF language now considering Cinderella and Snow both speak it?
Liked seeing Billy again in the EF it’s the same actor as well.
Snow is already thinking of Whale as a science teacher, has she forgotten he’s the town doctor or does she expect the rest of Storybrooke to suffer for her own selfish whims?
Hook is starting to grow on me as a character. However I think his current characterisation should’ve happened several seasons ago before Emma takes an interest. Hook’s series arc should’ve been learning to be a good man after spending so many years as “Hook”, not CS.
Is giving lady Tremaine a point stick to pick up trash such a good idea when she’d just stabbed Ashley with a pointy stick?
I disliked the fact that “Clorinda” is essentially Anastasia but without Anastasia and the character development. A&E should’ve kept the two shows separate then there wouldn’t be such an issue, but they brought on Will and said Wonderland is canon so they’ve screwed up both shows. Clorinda’s actress did well with what she had though
The Dopey explanation is so clearly to shut the fans up, though Grumpy’s comeback to Emma was good. It was rude of her just to barge in like that. What if it had been a patient who was starting to open up about some deep seated trauma? Emma would have wrecked that moment of release for them.
Overall, this episode has been pretty consistent with the previous two in terms of quality.
