I forgot. Let’s not forget the Lady of the Lake. It would be nice to see her in the flesh at last. Last time she was mentioned, Lancelot was sent to fetch her by the Charmings and Merlin to fight against the new dark one (hook) that Emma made against his will. But we never saw him or her after that.

I understand Batman is going to have a role in the show, but I think it’s already too large

Agreed. We all know Bruce is going to be Batman one day therefore he’s not in any real danger which makes him pointless because there are no stakes. Him popping up now and again like in that scene at the gala with Jerome (how that would be such a lovely start to the Joker/Batman dynamic) is fine, but for crappy side missions with Selena, it’s boring.
