ParticipantI think Rumple is going to be the one that ends up saving Henry since Henry is meant to be his “undoing”. Though if Emma is really the one Peter Pan wants, what with her being the saviour, then Hook could be the one who ends up saving Emma then she could give him a little thank you kiss which could then turn into a full blown romantic kiss as they both realise they have feelings for each other.

I like the idea of PP wanting Henry because of the yin yang magic potential he has. PP could be out for revenge against Rumple because he become the Shadow due to something Rumple did whether as a Lost Boy or the Dark One. For now I lean towards PP being out to destroy not only Rumple but the DO completely and to do that he needs Henry.
They could cast a older, baby-faced actor to play PP. He could look the part of a mid teen PP but have the acting chops to pull the role off.
As has been pointed out before, if PP wanted to destroy Rumple, why go to all the trouble to get the grandson when you have the son already in your possession? It like trading an important “chess piece” for a less important one.

Oooh 😈 trap for Emma! That’s very interesting. It would definitely play into the theme they’ve talked about her magic for Season 3.
Also, if Emma was PP’s real target, then Snow going dark to protect her daughter would help conclude the Snow’s dark heart plotline.

ParticipantI think Charming represents the ideal father. He loves his family and will fight for them. He’s always there for his family and will always try to help those in need. He is a positive male role model, brave and understanding.
Rumple represents the father with the addiction. Rumple loves Bae but his addiction to magic means Bae is sometimes second best. Bae remembers Rumple before his addiction took hold and he wants Rumple to go back to the man he was before magic. Rumple travelled to find Bae to reunite and make amends for letting Bae go through the portal alone. However Rumple’s solution to all the hurt was to want to use magic to turn Bae back into a 14 year old boy and effectively erase all the mistakes rather than learn from them. Belle represents a second chance for Rumple. She inspires him to want to sort his life out and be the best he can be. It was to her that Rumple admitted his reliance on magic and that is the first step in overcoming an addiction, admitting you have a problem.

ParticipantI don’t think Snow’s dark heart problem has just gone away by itself. Considering Snow is meant to become “as dark as the woman whose life she takes”, Snow hasn’t really gone dark and nowhere near as dark as Cora. Season 3 would be a good chance to explore Snow going dark especially if by doing so it meant she could help save Henry. Kind of a how far are you willing to go to save a loved one? thing.

ParticipantI think Emma will support Snow and be happy for her throughout the pregnancy and birth. However, I think when Snow and the baby return from the hospital, and the situation becomes a bit more real in that there is another living being in the house and family, then Emma is going to start to withdraw. This baby will get the childhood that Emma should have had so I can see that playing on Emma’s mind a bit. I could see Emma subtly avoiding having anything to do with the baby such as having something in her hands so she can’t hold him, having somewhere else she needs to be so she can’t babysit him etc.

ParticipantBF’s cloaking of the bean field spell was flimsy at best, Regina removed it with just a wave of her hand and no effort. Would it really be such a good idea to leave the protection of the town to BF’s shoddy cloaking spell?

ParticipantPerhaps Peter Pan wants the saviour but he thinks Henry is the saviour. Peter Pan seems very anti-girl and since visions of the future are not the most clear of things, Peter Pan may have misinterpreted his vision to think Henry is the one he needs when he really needs Emma.

Neal: Emma, you better not tell him that we were romantically involved nearly twelve years ago and slept together without using some form of protection.
Rumple: How is that possibly relevant?
Henry: Hey mom, do you need to use the bathroom before we leave?
Henry: You know we never celebrated my eleventh birthday.
Emma: Let’s go home and celebrate it right now, okay?
Rumple: Oh Crap, I’ve just done the math.
Henry: Would you like to come to my belated eleventh birthday party?
(Has just done the math too)
Henry: I’m going to have a cake and presents and balloons so do you want to come?
Neal: Ummm, okay?
Rumple: Oh crap, I have to hang out with Charming now.
Neal: I’ll buy you a bike for your birthday…..son.
Henry: Son? What are you on about?
Henry: Mom, what’s he on about?
Emma: He’s your daddy.
Henry: Noooo!
Rumple: Oh crap, how am I going to tell Belle she’s practically a grandma now?
Neal: I can’t believe I have a son.
Neal: How could you not tell me I had a son?
Emma: You mean between me going to jail for your crime and you disappearing without a trace? Hmmm, guess it slipped my mind.
Emma: Henry, I can explain! All magic comes with a price!

A& E keep harping on the fact that Emma “thinks” Neal is dead 🙄 . Making it seem like Hook will be a rebound. But this goes against Emma’s character and whatever we’ve been shown so far about her. She’s not the sort to do casual. She’s guarded with her emotions. She’s still bewildered by the savior thing and the fact that she is magical.
Emma has done “casual” with relationships in the past. In season 1, Emma told MM that one night stands are as far as she goes. I think she’s done one night stands because she’s guarded with her emotions. Physical intimacy is different to emotional intimacy. Emma doesn’t like getting emotionally involved because it means she can get emotionally hurt.
I think Hook and Emma will begin to get emotionally and romantically involved then Neal will pop back up to throw a spanner in the works.
A triangle between CaptainSwan and SwanFire (though A&E did mention a rhombus) would be a good way to play it. Unlike the season one triangle where it was obvious Charming was going to end up with Snow and Kathryn was just an obstacle to that, Emma could literally choose either one without it being obvious from the start who she would end up with. Both men have their supporters so the audience is already divided over who Emma should be with and that’s what a good triangle should be.

I agree with all of these and would like to add: FrankenWolf!
Yes, I was gonna add FrankenWolf! Sort of a bummer to know that they were apparently gonna elaborate on that before their overall plans changed and Red got downgraded. In The Name Of The Brother finally aired here last night, and I had it on in the background, half watching, but I had to watch the FrankenWolf stuff properly…and lament what could have been. *sigh*
Hopefully they find a way to slip something in once in awhile. I really loved their scenes in that episode and wanted more from them!
Perhaps they’ll have Whale and Granny interacting more and have them talking about Whale’s relationship with Red, or Granny will catch Whale sneaking out of Red’s room at the inn. There is ways that they can show FrankenWolf is happening without Red having to actually appear onscreen all the time.
