ParticipantThere should be an episode where Henry has to do a family tree for a school project. He’s going to need a lot of paper.

ParticipantJust rewatched Tallahassee. Emma seems almost flustered around Hook whilst they are in the giant’s castle. The look he compared her too with the Lost Boys is being left alone. Also Emma says she can’t risk being wrong about Hook. Emma usually relies on her superpower to tell when someone’s lying which is why she was sure Tamara was up to something. We know that when Emma gets emotionally involved in a situation, her superpower becomes unreliable. The fact that Emma can’t trust her own judgement when it comes to Hook suggests that she does have feelings for him and she recognises those feelings.
I do believe I’m starting to ship CaptainSwan though Rumbelle will always be my OTP on this show.

ParticipantI think Milah was at the tavern often enough since Rumple knew exactly where she’d be. He didn’t even need to ask Bae any questions but just told him to get his cloak.

ParticipantI don’t really have a favourite or least favourite mother/child relationship. I don’t think any of the family relationships in the show are depicted as perfect.

ParticipantCinderella and Alexandra- She made a deal with Rumple for her first born without realising it then tried to wriggle out of it. In Storybrooke, she maced Mr Gold in the eyes so that she could get the contract. Would she have done the same thing if she’d had her real memories and also knew that Mr Gold was Rumplestiltskin? It’s a shame we didn’t see a small scene of her at least concerned that Rumple may come after her for macing him in the eyes.
Jiminy and his mother- I think if Jiminy had been more like his parents they would’ve gotten on extremely well. His parents lived by the code “If you’re not the one doing the taking, you’re the one being taken from” whereas Jiminy was a lot more moral. Question is, how did Jiminy know the difference between right and wrong when he was being raised to steal from others. Nature vs nurture?
Milah and Bae- How much input did Milah have in Bae’s upbringing and how much of it was down to Rumple before she left permenantly? She was looking at Bae lovingly before Rumple returned from the ogre wars but was quick to palm Bae off to Rumple when he admitted that he had injured himself so he could return home. She would also leave Bae alone whilst she was drinking at the tavern. However she was quick to leave with Rumple and Bae when Bae entered the tavern. Were Rumple and Milah trying to mask the bad state of their marriage and play happy families in front of Bae?

Hook: You know, I’m going to start charging admission fees for every person that sets foot on the Jolly Roger. I’d make a profit in no time.
Hook: Though may I just add, Snow, you can ride my ship for free any time you want.
Charming: Back off!
Charming: Stop making sexual innuendos towards my wife.
Hook: It was a genuine offer, but if that’s the way you want to be then fine.
Hook: I’ll make them towards your daughter instead, she’s a lovely girl.
Charming: How about I introduce you to the floor?
Hook: I think you’ll find I already have a pre-existing relationship with the floor, we’re on very good terms.
Grumpy: Can you swim?
Hook: Of course I can.
Grumpy: Pity.
Hook: Can you?
Grumpy: I can when I have a dead pirate to use as a float.
Charming: I’ll help arrange that for you, Leroy.
Snow: Don’t you dare.
Hook: Snow, you’re concern for my well-being touches me in ways you can’t imagine.
Grumpy: Can I drown him now?
Hook: Try it. You won’t succeed and I’m sure Emma would love to warm me up.
Charming: Leroy, you grab his arms, I’ll grab his legs. We’ll see how long a pirate can hold his breath underwater.
Snow: Just get on the boat before he decides to move it.
Snow: Wow, you’re ship is huge.
Hook: Aye, and the Jolly Roger is a good size too.
Grumpy: I’ve seen bigger.

ParticipantHow this scene should have gone when Emma and Henry find out Archie’s not dead.
Henry: Archie, you’re alive!
Henry: See, I totally told you all that my Mom, because I call her that when I feel like it and other times call her the Evil Queen, didn’t kill Archie. I kept telling you that she wouldn’t do such a thing. I was right all along.

Also–RC …someone has to mention his role as Gaz in the Full Monty. He plays a down-on-his luck steel mill worker who needs a job, as he’s behind on child support to his ex-wife. Like Rumple, he loves his son, but doesn’t know how to do the right thing to connect with him. Unlike Rumple, he doesn’t become the master of dark power–no his idea to put on a strip tease show like the Chippendales (where in, he goes for the whole reveal aka the Full Monty).
Robert Carlyle was also in the World is Not Enough and in 28 Weeks later where he played a father who ran away instead of trying to help his wife when she was cornered by infected (though to be fair, there wasn’t much he could do and by running away he insured his kids would have a father to return to).

In 1×12 and 1×22 there’s that weird janitor dude in blue scrubs.Although the creators said he was no one(they did, didn’t they?),I think he looks like he could be the Blue Caterpillar. 😀
I think the creators said that he and the nurse in the basement were a nod to One flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest, Chief Bromden and Nurse Ratched respectively.

And all the fathers in this show have trouble being fathers
Not necessarily true.
Henry Sr loved Regina until she killed him.Gepetto was a good father to Pinocchio until he sent him through the wardrobe. Now that Pinocchio is a child again, Gepetto can be his father again.
Hansel and Gretel’s father was a good father until Regina kidnapped him.
Charming would’ve been a good dad to Emma if it wasn’t for the curse but he has shown signs of being fatherly towards her in present day.
Rumple was a good father to Bae until he became the Dark One to prevent Bae from having to fight in the ogre wars.
Neal has shown to be very fatherly towards Henry since discovering he has a son.
Mr and Mrs Darling were surprisingly calm upon discovering Wendy has been hiding a teenage boy in her bedroom for weeks.

I think Frollo scared the heck out of me as a kid.
Nothing is impossible on this show, but I think they would have to find someway to explain the fact that Frollo was still alive decades later. Hunchback, of course was a book long before it was a film, written in 1831, so before Peter Pan and Wendy even. Like Wendy, Frollo belongs to a certain time and location (Paris), so we’d have to explain how he is connected to the stories we have now.
But yes the religious elements in Tamara and Greg’s convictions are interesting.I don’t think when the book was written would be an issue since in Once, the Snow White story only happened 30 years ago when in reality it’s been around long before then. They could do a FTL version of Paris like they did an FTL version of China for Mulan.
With Frollo, they could go several routes. For example, if the Home Office has been around for a long time, say involved in the Salem Wich Trials, then Frollo could be a modern day relative of one of the original founders of the Home Office and would see it as his duty to continue the fight against magic. Perhaps Quasimodo is someone from another land that Frollo is keeping as a test subject or something or as propaganda to recruit followers, kind of “Look what magic did to this poor boy” when in reality Frollo thinks Quasimodo is a “foul creature”.
Quasimodo would ba a good character to add because he isn’t the perfect fairytale prince. I could see him becoming obsessed with one of the Once ladies, perhaps Belle, Emma, Regina or Snow, because they were kind to him. Snow would be a good one because she wants to fix her dark heart and she’d think helping Quasimodo would do that. Charming would then be concerned about the crazy stalker guy being near Snow whilst everyone else would think he’s just being a jealous husband. Cue Charming turning to Rumple for advice.
