ParticipantNeal was more likely to lead her to magic and let things slip if she was close to him and it worked, Neal invited her to Storybrooke.

ParticipantYes both Regina and Rumple have done horrible things in their past but Regina has also lied and manipulated Henry and made him feel crazy when he knew he wasn’t. Rumple hasn’t done that to Henry so Rumple is already at an advantage compared to Regina.
Also, Henry probably read about Rumple’s misdeeds before he actually spent time with Rumple. Now that he has spent some time with his newly discovered grandfather, Henry probably thinks Rumple isn’t that bad.
Henry knew Regina as his mother before he read the book. Discovering that the women who raised him had done all these evil things was probably a shock to the system for him. Not to mention all the lying, manipulating and deceiving she did.

ParticipantI think the town sees the Charmings as in charge. Any problems and the Charmings are left to sort it.

ParticipantHopefully it’s a sign that Belle remembers her true self before the season ends.

Since then, they have been working against one another and they definently do not trust each other.
The not trusting each other is a major stumbling block in the CaptainSwan relationship. How can they have a successful relationship when they can’t trust the other not to stab them in the back? Also, since Rumple is now Henry’s grandfather, Emma isn’t going to allow Hook to kill Rumple. She is now standing in the way of his lifelong ambition, he’s going to resent her for that. Also Hook has shown he’s not above hurting others to get to Rumple. He shot Belle because she was where Rumple kept his heart, how long before Henry becomes a target for Hook since Henry is what ties Emma to Rumple?
Hook would flirt with anyone, hes a pirate. This ship just does not seem realistic to me.
So far Hook has flirted with Milah, Emma, Snow, Cora, and Regina. Must have a thing for mothers.
The worrisome thing is him flirting with Snow despite knowing that she’s Emma’s mother. That’s just all kinds of wrong. If he genuinely liked Emma, even if he couldn’t express it properly, flirting with her own mother is a big no. Perhaps he enjoys Emma as a challenge because she isn’t going to just fall into his arms.

I know about first loves, and I know about true loves, and I know Neal is Henry’s father, but…I’d like to see the show place value in the concept of step-families. There’s lots of room for story telling, and those of us who have experience know that while the road can be rocky, true love to be found there, too.
I too would like to see Emma end up with someone other than Neal. By all means, Emma and Neal should give their relationship another go in order to resolve any left over feelings they have for one another. If it continues or falls apart then it’s all good. However, I don’t want them to get back together just for the sole reason that Neal is Henry’s father.

They may not kill Neal this season but I believe they will definately kill him off next season. I stand by what I said, if they were planning on keeping Neal long term they would have bumped him up to series regular. Since they didn’t, it just shows that Neal is crucial to the show.
Killing Neal would definitely send Rumple on a trip back to the dark side and potentially set him up as a villain for at least half a season. Rumple’s not really been a villain so far but has been playing both sides against each other. Rumple’s motivation as a villain would be grief instead of revenge (Regina), power (Cora) or greed (Tamara).
As for the ‘fun in vegas’ thing- That was ages ago! That was when the cast, writers, directors were trying to not give any hints that CS was going to happen. I wouldn’t take that too seriously. You’re looking at one little quote from an interview and ignoring the hundreds of other evidence that shows us CS is happening and, as they say, ‘canon’. What you should look at is, the chemistry, Paleyfest (that was huge for CS), as well as more recent interviews.
If CaptainSwan was going to be a serious long term relationship thing you would think the writer would have said “keep watching” or “you’ll have to wait and see” rather than “fun in vegas”. I can’t remember much from Paleyfest (Was CaptainSwan addressed there? What was said there?) and I’ve not really kept up to date with recent interviews (What was said about CaptainSwan?)
As for chemistry, I’ve seen Hook using a lot of innuendo towards Emma and even some innuendo towards Snow. Emma tolerates Hook and even taunts him at times which I suppose could be seen as flirting with him. Never have I looked at them and thought this is a couple that will settle down into a successful long term relationship.
Sarah_TN– Don’t wory it will happen 😀 The directors said that they try to please everyone (including different ‘ships’). However in the end they are going to go with what they planned from the beginning – Emma/Hook (which they had actually planned since season 1) 😀
Has it actually been said that Emma/Hook was planned since season 1?

Snow: How long does it take Charming to get two cups of coffee?
Charming: Here you are, love of my life.
Snow: About time.
Charming: I love you.
Snow: I love you too, now lets drink this coffee before it gets any colder.
Charming: Snow, I want to ask you something.
Snow: Man, this coffee’s good.
Charming: When I ask you I don’t want you to get mad.
Snow: What were you saying?
Charming: I said I wanted to ask you something.
Snow: Okay, what is it?
Charming: I don’t want you to get mad when I ask you.
Snow: What is it, Charming?
Charming: Wait a minute.
Charming: Road safety, Snow. We have to make sure there is no traffic coming before we cross.
Snow: It’s Storybrooke. There’s hardly ever any traffic.
Charming: There’s no harm in making sure.
Snow: So what is it you wanted to ask me?
Charming: You promise you won’t get mad?
Snow: Me getting mad depends on what you ask me.
Charming: Well, dearie, I was wondering-
Snow: What did you call me?
Charming: Darling! I called you darling.
Snow: You called me dearie.
Charming: No I didn’t.
Snow: Yes you did. Why did you call me dearie?
Charming: I miss Rumplestiltskin.
Snow: You miss the guy who lied to you, who hurt you and who put you under a sleeping curse?
Charming: Yes. He felt really bad about lying to me, and the whole sleeping curse thing was a way to prove that we were best friends forever and ever. Can I see him again? Please?
Snow: Of course you can see him again, so long as you want to continue being treated like that. Who needs enemies when you have Rumplestiltskin as your friend?
Charming: Yay! I can’t wait to tell Rumple the good news! All magic comes with a price!

From what I know there are 4 days left of shooting. I wonder if Neal dies. It would make sense, seeing as he is still a guest star and isn’t even a series regular. And maybe Henry is so upset over Neal dying that he goes away to Neverland – it’s a long shot but still possible. I’d be sad if Neal died though, I like the actor, he plays him well.
I don’t think they would kill off Neal quite yet for several reasons:
1. Rumple- The whole point of the curse was for Rumple to be able to find Bae. Rumple has had a lot to deal with this season- Belle’s amnesia, actually finding Bae, nearly dying, finding out that he’s Henry’s grandfather, dealing with the fact that Henry is supposed to be his undoing. To have Bae then die this season would be a little too much drama for one guy to have to deal with in a single season.
2. Emma- Having Neal back in Emma’s life complicates things for her. The only guy Emma loved comes crashing back into her life and it scares her a liitle bit. She wants to protect herself from how she feels about him. She finds out he’s engaged to someone else, and she pretends she doesn’t care but she does really. Emma still loves him but doesn’t want to admit it. She’s built up these emotional walls so the longer Neal’s around, the harder it is for Emma to keep those walls up. There is potential for some great scenes so to kill Neal off this season would just waste that.
3. Henry- Henry has only just got to know his father after Emma lied about him being dead. To then kill Neal off so soon after Henry has bonded with him would just be cruel.
4. Tamara- Tamara is probably going to be the big bad for at least the first half of season 3. They are not going to kill Neal off until he at least finds out how manipulative Tamara is and how she has been playing him since the moment they both met.
Will Neal survive beyond season 3? If he reunites with Rumple and reunites with Emma, what more is there for him to do? Those are the two big storylines for him. If he achieves both of those then it’ll be time to worry about his survival

By seeing whose on the Jolly Roger it just seems like only Emma could get Hook to take them all to Neverland. All these pics just seems like we’re getting a Captain Swan ending to season two.
Didn’t the writers say, when asked about the possibility of CaptainSwan that Hook would be “fun in Vegas” or something like that. I interpreted that to mean that, if Emma and Hook did hook up, it wouldn’t be a serious relationship but just a bit of fun.

ParticipantI hope they release this in the UK. With the wonderland spinoff and now this graphic novel, could they be tying up loose threads that they aren’t going to revisit in OUAT?

ParticipantGood for Michael Socha. Though I think I’ll always see him as Tom from Being Human.
Perhaps they’ll only mention the Mad Hatter and The Queen of Hearts. They could probably get Barbara Hershey to make guest appearances but Sebastian Stan is probably out of the question.
If they continue their tradition of casting Lost actors in their shows, Adam and Eddy could probably get Naveen Andrews to play the part of Amahl. I wonder if, by dealing with Wonderland in this show, it means we won’t be seeing Wonderland again in flashbacks in OUAT.
