The music was on quite loud and even if Zelena did scream, he wouldn’t have heard her. I also doubt Pan and Rumple would hang around long enough for Hades to see them.

Question: Is Zelena aware of Pan’s capabilities, since she looked terrified when Rumple introduced him?

I wonder if Rumple is going to barter Zelena’s safe return for the contract Hades has for the baby.

Also notice Robbie Kay is now credited as Robbie A. Kay.

    Liked

Cora’s hair and costumes in flashback- Both are really nice.

The Zelena/Hades relationship- I will actually be sad if this doesn’t work out.

“Why is everything in the woods with you people”- Cruella, as always, binging the humour. Also punching Emma.

Zelena- Zelena has now become one of my favourite characters of season 5, such a difference from season 3.

Regina letting Zelena be with Hades- Not that Zelena needed Regina’s permission anyway, but it’s nice that Regina recognised that it is possible for people to change. It would’ve been hypocritical not to since she herself changed for the better.

The Cruella/James partnership- Shame we didn’t see more of it though it probably wouldn’t be suitable for a family show. LOL at the look on Emma’s face when Cruella and James were flirting because it was almost as if she was seeing her dad involved with someone else.

    Mixed

Flashback Cora- Whilst it was nice to see Cora somewhat caring towards young Regina, at the same time Cora is supposed to be heartless yet it seems she’s getting along fine without it. Her affection towards young Regina in this episode doesn’t really gel with what we’ve seen of Cora in earlier flashbacks.

    Disliked

Regina acting all high and mighty towards Zelena- I dislike Regina when she’s like that because it makes her very hypocritical.

I don’t think that the ratings are going to drop because of the last episode. I think the people complaining about the LGBT relationship, for the most part, don’t actually watch the show.

    Quote

See, I always wonder how much the reception of the previous episode affects the ratings of the next episode. For example, if the previous episode was really good, you’re more likely to tune in to the next episode. Likewise if the promo for the next episode looks good, you’re more likely to tune in. However, if you get a bad episode and the promo for the next episode doesn’t look good, or you’ve had a couple of bad episodes in a row then you’re less inclined to tune in.

It could be completely irrelevant but I do wonder if the ratings of an episode reflect the reception of the previous episode.

I have no doubt that the perfect cure to Regina’s self induced barreness is Robin’s TL.

    Quote

I actually don’t want Regina’s barreness to be cured. I think Regina is a character that shows you can be happy and satisfied in life even though you can’t have children. Regina has a son because she adopted him, she has a lover who has his own children, and even though they can’t have a child together, they are happy and content with their little family unit and what they have. They don’t feel like there is anything missing.

To make Regina pregnant kind of feels like a kick in the teeth to that. As if it’s saying “since you’re finally pregnant with your OWN child, NOW you’re life is complete”.

Regina represents a different kind of family as opposed to the stereotypical mom, dad, kids. Regina was a SINGLE, WORKING woman who ADOPTED a child and loved him as if he was her own. The fact he wasn’t blood related didn’t make him any less her son and child.

Regina is the one character on the show that represents that a woman being unable to bare children isn’t any less a woman. She isn’t defined by her inability to have kids. She has everything she wanted and it wasn’t down to whether or not she could have children.

So we’ve still got four more people to place in the after life. Where do you think they’re going?
    Cora:
    Peter Pan:
    Cruella:
    Blind Witch:

Cora- to the happy place. She’ll reunite Zelena and Regina as sisters then move on.

Peter Pan- Either the fire or the river of lost souls. He’s not repentant for his actions and is still plotting to get out of the underworld. However, there is irony in him being trapped in the river of lost souls when he himself trapped lost “souls” in Neverland.

Cruella- I don’t think she’s going anywhere. She’ll just stay in the underworld for all eternity.

Blind Witch- Again there would be irony in her going to the fire because that’s how she died in the first place. However, she’s not really done anything bad in the underworld to warrant her going to the fire.

I wonder if Gold will at least TRY to kiss her awake.

    Quote

I think he’ll be very torn. On the one hand he wants to try and help Belle but on the other, he needs his magic to help save their unborn child. He can’t risk losing his magic until the contract is nullified.

I believe the rating’s will drop to 0.9 or 1.0 at most.

    Quote

I don’t think they’ll drop that low. Don’t get me wrong, you could be right, but I think at this point in the game we’re down to the loyal viewers who will tune in regardless of what else is on.

Hades isn’t the devil, they made a point of distinguishing between the two in Our Decay.

The thing is though, Regina showing sisterly concern would be okay and natural. However at the end of the day she can’t force Zelena not to be with Hades if that’s what Zelena wants.

However, the article states that Regina would try to “sabotage” Zelena’s HEA with her possible TL. If this had been any other characters say Snowing as opposed to Zelena/Hades, Regina would be firmly in villain territory. So why is it considered ok for her to sabotage Zelena’s HEA with Hades yet not Snowing’s with each other?

It’s hypocritical and I dislike it when the writers put Regina in that situation because it makes her look bad yet it’s supposedly okay because she’s a “hero”.

All the “heroes” (because you can’t call them that without the inverted commas anymore) are self centred and hypocritical. They only care about themselves and their family. Everyone else is irrelevant. Case in point, when Storybrooke was being destroyed at the end of S2, the “heroes” gathered their friends and family in the diner ready to poof out of there via magic bean yet there were happy to leave RumBelle and the rest of the town to suffer a terrible fate. Outside of Henry, I did not see one kid in that diner, and there is at least a classful of kids in Storybrooke because Snow taught them for 28 years! yet she was happy to leave them to die because they weren’t family and therefore didn’t matter.

Just to add tonally wise, I think the new companion will balance out Capaldi’s doctor. 10 and Donna, 11 and Amy balanced each other out. When Clara came on with 12, the tone of the show became dark and darker because Clara didn’t balance out 12. The tone of the show became darker when 11 started but the chemistry between 11 and Amy balanced out that darkness. Clara and 12 didn’t have that chemistry.

I am so glad Clara is gone, I can’t say this enough. I hated her character especially when it seemed to become the Clara show. I was so close to not watching Doctor Who ever again and it was all because of that self-centred egotistical character. She was the worst companion in new Who. Even Martha, considered one of the least favourite companions was miles better than Clara. The only reason I watched the last series of Doctor Who was literally because I knew Clara would be leaving. I was so happy when they killed her off in what was probably the best episode of 12’s run at that point and I was so disappointed when they brought her back. She should’ve stayed dead. Clara Oswald is the Scrappy Doo of Doctor Who-very irritating and just won’t die.

I reckon we’ll maintain a 1.2 overall It’s a Regina episode with a healthy dose of WickedSisters. Zelena’s gained popularity as opposed to her S3 self and it promises a confrontation between Cora and Zelena.
