ParticipantI think Zoso was there because there was a tip off of Rumple trying to run with Bae. Hordor and his men showed up awfully fast. I think the owner of the dagger can control the dark one’s actions but not necessarily the dark one’s thoughts.
Zoso’s dagger was in the duke’s possession but not in his hand so the duke didn’t have direct control over Zoso at that exact time but the fact that the duke had the dagger meant Zoso couldn’t try anything against the duke. So Zoso got someone else to steal the dagger so that the duke was out of the equation.
Rumple is pretty stubborn and strong willed so even if Cora controls his actions, Rumple would still have his own thoughts and agenda. Rumple is also patient. It wouldn’t surprise me if he lets Cora think she has full control over him whilst he is craftily planning her downfall.
Perhaps Cora gets the dagger by threatening Neal/Bae (assuming he is Bae) or Belle. Kind of a “hand over the dagger or your loved one gets it”. The dagger symbolises Rumple’s power, he chose it once over Bae so if he were to willingly give it to Cora in exchange for Bae’s safety then it could help Bae realise that his father is trying to change and that he is choosing love over power.

ParticipantI think Emma’s line of interrogation was too focussed on whether or not Greg saw something that it gave the impression that he may have seen something he shouldn’t have seen.
Like MerryLeeplaying said, Emma should have asked more basic questions as well so as to at least give the impression that this was just a routine interrogation on the details of the accident.

ParticipantSomeone tweeted Jane Espenson asking if we will see Rumple and Belle together again this season and she tweeted back Yes.
However the question could be interpreted in several ways such as fairytale land or Storybrooke, whether Rumple and Belle will be sharing a scene etc.
I don’t think they will kill off the Rumbelle relationship because it is very popular perhaps more so than Snowing. However, the relationship will have obstacles along the way, Belle’s amnesia is just one such obstacle.
Bae and Rumple’s relationship is the one that will probably take seasons to resolve properly. I can see it as a one step forward two steps back kind of thing. Rumple is going to make so many mistakes along the way, bless him, it’s going to be one massive emotional rollercoaster.

I am wondering something about Rumple. I wonder if Zozo (the previous Dark One) chose Rumple because he not only saw a desperate soul but a clever, intelligent one who unlike him could use the full potential of the curse?
My mind makes me laugh sometimes. When I started reading your post, for a moment I thought you were writing “I wonder if Zozo (the previous Dark One) chose Rumple because he saw The Full Monty.” I have no idea where that thought came from but I’m guessing my brain was trying to catch up from reading the previous posts.
By the way Plunkett and Macleane is a great movie to watch starring Robert Carlyle. There is some gore though.
