Keeper of FelixRumple was lashing out because he was hurting. He needed someone to watch over Belle and asking nicely just wasn’t going to cut it. Rumple isn’t good at expressing his emotions and though he may show his soft side to Belle, he doesn’t want others to see him as weak.

Keeper of FelixWhy would he have his wife/girlfriend/whatever listed as HER? Maybe “Honey” could be her real name. I think either HER is initials or her name is so obvious such as perhaps Dorothy that it would give away who Greg really is. Maybe she has him listed as HIM then you have Him and Her.
Crackpot theory: Her is Winnie the Pooh. Would go with the “honey” pet name.

Rumple’s behaviour in this episode is understandable. He’s hurting so he’s lashing out at those around him. His head is in a spin in regards to Belle. Chronologically the Storybrooke scenes take place on the same night as the Outsider. One minute he has Belle, the woman he loves who loves him in return, the next she doesn’t know who he is. He wants her back. He tried magic, his solution to all problems, and it hasn’t worked. He genuinely doesn’t know what to do. Him setting off to find Bae is probably the best thing for him and Belle at the moment. She’s terrified of him and if he stayed in Storybrooke, he wouldn’t be able to keep away from her and the hospital. He’s giving them both some space. His threat to the Charmings, whilst not right, is him ensuring Belle remains safe. He’s not going to be there to protect her so he needs the next best thing. I think when Belle smashed the cup, Rumple realised he wasn’t helping the situation and was only making it worse. He had to leave, and whilst he may have said it was to stop him killing Hook, the real reason is that it hurt too much to be near Belle.
The flashback scenes of Whale were nicely done. I felt so sorry for him. The only time his father showed him any sort of love was when he thought Victor had brought back his favourite son. When that didn’t work out, he treated Victor like crap again. No wonder Victor let his brother kill his father.
Cora- How does Cora know about Bae? She played on both Rumple’s and Cora’s wants and fears to get what she wanted. I fear for Henry’s well-being with Cora around. She may use him as an excuse to get Regina into line but he will be the only thing between Regina redeeming herself and Regina being dependent on Cora.
Hook is playing with fire. He’s hurt Belle and chances are, when Bae arrives on the scene, Hook is going to go after him as well. Nothing is more dangerous than a wounded animal and it won’t take long until Hook’s “crocodile” bites back. If it weren’t for the Charmings, Hook would be dead at the roadside because of Rumple.

Granny: Pongo may respond to that sort of thing but Red won’t. You’ve got to be firm. RED! GET OUT HERE NOW!

Granny: Your dream is about to become a nightmare if you don’t do as I say.
Red: That is so unfair!

Granny: She’s like this every full moon.
Charming: Come on Red, leave the nice squirrel alone.
Granny: I may need your help to get her home.
Charming: I shouldn’t really leave Henry on his own too long. Give me a second.
Charming: Rumple, it’s me. I need to ask a favour……………No it can’t wait…..
Red: Is he really asking Rumplestiltskin to look after Henry?
Granny: Looks like it.
Red: Poor kid.
Charming: I know it’s short notice…………….Well get Regina to help you, she likes Henry……………..No I haven’t lost my mind……
Charming: Just give me five minutes.
Charming: What do you mean you and Belle are busy…………….Can’t it wait?………….Put Belle on, let me speak to her…………What did she just call me?………… Don’t lie, I heard her in the background…………….So you will babysit?…..So long as I get off the phone. Okay, thank you.Bye.

Keeper of FelixI don’t know what the significance of the knot itself could be, however, I think Hook deliberately left it for Belle to find.
She walked onto the ship and found Archie way too easily. Hook said he knew the ship like the back of his hand so it is possible that he saw Belle come aboard the ship and was concealing himself until the time was right.
