ParticipantWhen I saw the title of this thread I just had to post the video that you posted. It’s just brilliant. I think my favourite part has to be the “can’t touch this” with Rumple.

ParticipantI think Hook would hurt Bae.
1. Hurting Bae would hurt Rumple.
2. Milah left Bae. She didn’t care for him. She didn’t even ask about him until Rumple brought him up and she left Bae home alone whilst she went drinking at the tavern. It is likely she saw Bae as a chain around her neck tying her to Rumple.
3. Rumple killed Milah in Bae’s name. The moment Rumple mentioned Bae, the situation aboard the ship went rapidly down hill. Also Rumple brought up Bae in the tavern to try and get Milah to go home, telling her she had “responsibilities”.All magic comes with a price!

ParticipantAll magic comes at a price. Perhaps that price is a consequence.
Cora used magic to pretend kill Archie and as a consequence Regina got the blame.
Rumple brought magic to Storybrooke and as a consequence he couldn’t cross the town line.
Rumple uses magic to break the barrier curse and as a consequence outsiders may be able to enter Storybrooke.
Rumple used magic to give Henry the dream thing in the fire room and as a consequence Henry got burned badly then Charming used magic to go under a sleeping curse and got stuck in the fire room.
All magic comes with a consequence but that consequence can vary.

Go Belle!
One thing though – GOLD. Why wouldn’t he want to report ‘the pirate’ to the Sheriff? This is Captain Hook we’re talking about and if he’s here, Cora is about somewhere too! Gold not revealing that is actually helping Cora! He could’ve at least eliminate this element of surprise for Emma and give her some advantage, as well as make people more aware of things going on around and people missing! Also, it would make the Charmings realize it might have not been Regina to commit the crime(s) and try to bring her back for help!
Now he’s going to leave to find his son and Belle is staying in SB with CORA around? How is this logical????
Also, he obviously didn’t eliminate Hook entirely, if he reported him to Emma, she would surely be able to deal with him, Gold has seen her powers and many victories, plus “good always wins”. So what’s stopping you, Rumple?Rumple has always had to deal with his problems himself. Before he became the dark one, he was known as the village coward and probably had no friends to turn to. When he became the dark one, everyone was afraid of him so he was alone. Those that he did associate with such as Regina were not the type of people you’d want to see you in a vulnerable state. Rumple was, and to an extent still is, a very private person. He’s learning to open up to Belle but centuries of keeping emotions and feelings to himself from other people is a hard habit to break. Also, how many times has Rumple used someone’s feelings and emotions against them in order to manipulate them? The fact that Rumple openly admitted that he took Hook’s hand because Hook took his wife shows that he is opening up to Belle but admitting that he killed Milah isn’t something taht can just be dropped into general conversation.
Belle has never seen Rumple in a vulnerable state. She knows that the persona he puts on when making deals is just an act but she has never seen him at his lowest and Rumple doesn’t want her to see him like that. Before he became the dark one, Rumple saw himself as weak and powerless. Milah only reinforced that belief in him. Before he became the dark one, Rumple was at his most vulnerable and Milah told him that she never loved him. Rumple may think that asking for help is weak and may fear, however irrational, that Belle may reject him if she sees him as weak.
When Rumple is telling Belle about taking Hook’s hand, the way he says it is very unemotional. It’s more of a “He did this so I did that” rather than admitting how much losing Milah hurt him. Rumple doesn’t want Belle to see him vulnerable.
Hook also reminds Rumple of the time when he was powerless, when he couldn’t stand up to Hook.
