Keeper of FelixExactly. Two’s company, three’s a crowd. When Belle met Red, Snow wasn’t in the picture. Now that Snow is back, somebody is going to end up as the third wheel. Like you said, Snow and Red have known each other longer and been through a lot together. Snow and Red’s bond is a lot stronger than Red and Belle’s. Snow and Red are going to have a lot to catch up on and Belle is the type of person who wouldn’t want to intrude or be in the way.
Snow and Red wouldn’t exclude Belle deliberately but their bond is probably going to make Belle feel like an outsider. Aside from Rumple and Red, Belle doesn’t really know anybody in Storybrooke. Also, Belle doesn’t seem to be the type to let people know when she’s hurting, she’s been locked up for 28 years plus however long in fairytale land but you wouldn’t think it by how she acts.
