Keeper of FelixI disagree on Rumple being the wicked witch of the west for two reasons. 1. Regina had the turning green line which hinted at the wicked witch and 2. Cora said she travelled across many lands so it is possible that Cora herself is the wicked witch.
I think they will link Oz to at least one of the characters we are familiar with otherwise it will seem like the writers have gone off on a tangent and it would mean less screentime for the characters we already know and love.
Although it would seem Rumple could be the lion because of the whole courage theme, I wonder if it will be the Tinman that will link Oz to the characters we know. The Tinman lacked a heart and Cora and Regina are known to rip out hearts.
