Charming: Jefferson, there’s no easy way to say this, but I think we should see other people.
Jefferson: Thank God for that!
Charming: You don’t seem too upset by this. Why aren’t you upset by this?

Charming: Much. As I was saying, I think we should see other people. This friendship just isn’t working out.
Jefferson: I know. You’re the most boring friend ever.
Charming: But I thought we had something special!
Jefferson: Really? You honestly believed that?
Charming: I did, yeah. I thought we were forever and ever.
Jefferson: Well, I can’t say I’m too surprised. I mean you have no friends of your own, you just piggy back off Snow’s friendships.
Jefferson: It’s quite sad really.
Charming: I do not piggy back off Snow’s friendships!
Charming: You listen to me, our friendship is back on! I’m going to take you somewhere nice tonight. Perhaps the movies and a spot of dinner.
Jefferson: You can pick me up at eight!
Charming: So it’s a date then?
Jefferson: No, it is not a date! It is just two guys going to the movies and having dinner together. There’s nothing date like about that at all!
Charming: Sure sounds like a date to me.
Jefferson: You know, tonight’s not good for me. I’m out of here. Don’t call me, I’ll call you.
Charming: Hey, wait! I know what that means!
Jefferson: Save me!

Red: Calm down, you’re not making any sense.
Charming: How can I calm down? He’s not going to call me!
Red: Let him go, you can do better. You’ll meet someone and they’ll be the perfect friend for you.
