This is just a guess on my part, but I think the one who dies will be Pongo (the dog)
general rule you can't kill a dog no one ever does. the cute pet always survives I don’t know why it’s like that but I don’t recall ever seeing anything like that happen.
It’s because people like pets more than people. If you start killing pets on your show than you could potentially turn off some of your audience.
