ParticipantRegina could be so messed up from her mom’s abuse that she believed she did love her and that Cora only did what she did out of love. Regina would not be where she is today if it weren’t for Cora.

ParticipantHow? Is Hook aware that Belle is Rumple’s true love? He knew her name and that she’d lived with Rumple for a while, but surely if he knew she was Rumple’s true love, he wouldn’t have tried to trick her by saying that Rumple was going to kill her father.

ParticipantI’m not faulting Henry for wanting to spend time with his family, that’s completely understandable, it’s the way he went about it. One of Regina’s fears since Emma came to Storybrooke was that she would take Henry away from her. Now that Emma has returned, it looks like that fear is coming true. Regina had no place in going to dinner with Henry and the Charmings, everyone knew that, but Henry should have at least offered. Regina would’ve probably refused anyway but there is a difference between declining an invitation and being left out.
It’s the look on Regina’s face that makes me feel sorry for her. Henry, why couldn’t you just invite her and let her decline?

ParticipantHook didn’t have to kill Belle but he would’ve had Regina not stolen his Hook before he made the killer blow.

ParticipantDoing that to Belle put Hook into villain territory. He may consider himself a gentleman but there was nothing gentlemanly about his actions there. Belle is an innocent and the moment villains start going after innocents then their days are numbered. (I’m not talking about “Redshirts” whose purpose is to be killed”).

ParticipantHenry was grateful that Regina helped Emma and Snow and he can see that Regina is trying to change. However, if Henry had to choose between Emma and Regina, Regina would always come second best and Regina knows this. Regina could have easily not disarmed the portal and she would have had Henry to herself. Charming was under a sleeping curse and Snow and Emma were in a different land, Regina was in a position to have what she wanted, Rumple even told her as much, and yet she chose to help Emma and Snow for Henry’s sake. Despite her history of trying to rid herself of the Charmings, she had achieved that and she helped bring them back for Henry. That was a big step forward for her and Henry basically ditched her. Rumple’s little dig was just pointing out the truth, Henry loves Emma more.

ParticipantI agree that Cora will bring her daughter back to the dark side but at the same time I think Regina will be a shadow of her former evil self. Cora is going to make Regina dependent on her. The whole Love is weakness/Love is strength is going to come into play here. Cora is going to use Regina’s love for Henry to strengthen her hold over her daughter.

Henry purposely made it so she wouldn’t come along. His “I’ll see you later” was clearly “I’ll see you later mom but right now, I’m gonna be with them.”
I disagree. His “I’ll see you later” seemed more like “Oh my real mom is back! Bye!”
