Exactly. Rumple’s going to be too focussed on protecting Belle from Hook. Rumple may not notice Bae entering Storybrooke and may not even recognise him. If Hook figures out who Bae is before Rumple does, then Hook can poison Bae against Rumple. Bae has seen Rumple kill people so he can’t deny the possibility that Hook is telling him the truth about Milah’s death.
