    Keep the theories coming. 😀

I think Jiminy’s story is in the book because Henry made the remark about how Jiminy took a long time to do the right thing when he and Archie were down the mineshaft and Archie apologised to him. If Jiminy’s story is indeed in the book then that could rule out the majority of characters as they weren’t around when Jiminy’s story took place.

The only ones who were around when Gepetto’s parents got turned into puppets were: Jiminy,Gepetto, Jiminy’s parents, Blue Fairy and Rumple.

I think it does. Rumple used it to summon the wraith.

thats a good thought. Youre right, he did use it to summon the wraith.

Could that be because the dagger is a dark magic object and the wraith is a dark creature?Fairy dust wouldn’t have summoned the wraith.

Magic works differently, Rumple isn’t really the “dark one” anymore per se because he’s human rather than how he was in fairytale land.

Perhaps the dagger just holds dark magic rather than being able to control Rumple. Though Rumple should make sure that he still keeps it in a special place.

I think Regina’s and Rumple’s redemption is going to come down to choice. They need to choose whether or not to redeem themselves. It’s all very well Regina saying she wants to redeem herself but saying it and carrying through are two totally different things.

Found the interview. It was one of those quickfire Q&As.Big thanks to Nonnie’s Season 2 spoiler links thread.

Was it Aurora’s (Sarah Bolger) mother that Regina (Lana Parrilla) was referring to back in Season 1 who got the best of Maleficent (Kristin Bauer)?
    Edward Kitsis: Yes.

    Might we ever see that?
    Adam Horowitz: We might!

Is there ever a chance for romance between Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and August (Eion Bailey)?
Kitsis: I would say that Emma is definitely going to have some interesting suitors this year, but August has, so far, been such a big brother to her that I’m not sure that those two are meant to be. But it’s a TV show; you never know!
Horowitz: We haven’t seen the last of those two together on the show.

Would the consequences be as severe if Regina left Storybrooke considering she doesn’t have an alter-ego memory?
Hororwitz: No. It would not be as severe.

Will other characters cross into fairy-tale land?
    Hororwitz: We take the fifth.

Will Belle (Emilie de Ravin) ever confront Regina for locking her up?
    Hororwitz: She should!

Even though Cora (Barbara Hershey) says she killed Lancelot (Sinqua Walls), have we seen the last of him?
    Horowitz: No.
Kitsis: Why does everyone just believe what Cora says? Not one person on the blogs have doubted Cora, as if she’s the most trustworthy character that we have! She’s not Snow White, for God’s sake!

    Could Cora have good intentions?
Hororwitz: I think everybody thinks they do.

Going back to Lancelot, is there a chance of seeing Guinevere or Arthur?
Kitsis: There is a chance of seeing it, perhaps this season, but definitely someday we will.

Will we ever see flashbacks to pre-Emma Storybrooke when the curse was intact?
Horowitz: We’re very interested in that period as well.

Once Upon a Time: Now that the curse has been broken, the real trouble begins

Will we see how Henry (Jared Gilmore) ended up in Storybrooke?
Kitsis: Yes, it’s just a matter of when.

Is King George (Alan Dale) still hell-bent on revenge?
    Kitsis: Oh yeah! Keep watching!

What do you think about the weapon? Do you have any ideas of what Hook might have brought over?
Or do you think he is after the dagger?

Can Rumple be killed whilst in his Storybrooke human form? It’s possible that the Dark One originated from a diffferent land because Blue Fairy told Bae that Rumple’s magic didn’t belong in the land (I can’t remember the exact line). Perhaps Hook spent his time in Neverland researching the Dark one and has found a way to kill him. The dagger may not be the only way.

I don’t know whther or not they will introduce the character of Peter Pan into the series. Hook wanted revenge against Peter for cutting off his hand and throwing it to the crocodile yet in the series Rumple was the one to cut off his hand. If Peter Pan does exist in this show then what is Hook going to have against him?

Your point about Hook not being like the original Hook got me wondering. What if all the stories we know are a distorted turn of events? What if there was never a Peter Pan, or if there was, he wasn’t mortal enemies with Hook as they were made out to be.

I don’t know if Hook would wait that long though–to become close to belle and seduce her. That would take a while, and I don’t think it would even work.

Belle wouldn’t allow herself to be seduced. She loves Rumple and would remain loyal to him which would put a nice contrast between her and Milah.

Hook wouldn’t need to sucessfully seduce Belle but have Rumple think that is what he’s doing. Hook already seduced Rumple’s wife so it wouldn’t be beyond reason that he could seduce Rumple’s girlfriend.

Rumple has self-esteem issues so he could quite easily jump to the conclusion that Belle has been seduced by Hook. Again, Rumple would be in a lose/lose situation. If he confronts Belle, she’s going to take offense that he doesn’t trust her to be faithful, and if he says nothing then he’s going to suffer in silence thinking he’s going to lose Belle to Hook like he did Milah.

Like you said, as far as we know Hook doesn’t know about Belle yet. He might be intending to kill Rumple right now but once he sees Belle, he might decide that it would be a better revenge to separate Rumple from his one true love.

Could Maleficent’s death have anything to do with the nightmare? She was alived when Henry and Aurora were cursed but dead when they were awoken.

Interesting question, If Emma/Hook do end up together, will Emma pull a Belle and tell Hook not to seek revenge on Rumple? Should she?

That’s an interesting question, I think she might but I think it’ll depend on where Rumple is at the time. If he’s dangerous she might be on Hook’s side!

Emma may feel a little vengeful that she was separated from Henry because of the Wraith that Rumple summoned. Hook’s been planning his revenge on Rumple for centuries (though the time difference in Neverland may not actually make it that long) Emma asking Hook not to take revenge is not going to sway his mind.

I can see Emma being less friendly, not that she was very friendly to begin with, to Rumple now that she knows he has killed someone. If Bae does turn out to be Henry’s father then Emma is not going to want Rumple anywhere near her son regardless of their bloodlink.
