ParticipantWas Rumple randomly picking up women to teach them magic? In The Doctor, he put his hand on Regina’s and quirked his eyebrow and at the end there was Regina’s replacement who Regina killed. Was Rumple trying to make Regina jealous?
Perhaps Rumple had other reasons for wanting Belle other than being lonely.

Or maybe just to point out he can manipulate time.
Perhaps but why point out that he can manipulate time unless they plan on using that power later.

Rumple did say to Smee that he can turn back the clock of time or turn it forward again. So, as much as I’m not keen on Bae being an elderly gent, Rumple could remedy that.
I don’t think Bae would want Rumple to turn him back into a boy again especially if Bae has his own family. Bae has issues with magic especially with Rumple using it as a fix all solution.
Something I find interesting is that we’ve never seen Rumple use his aging forward/aging backwards power nor have we seen it mentioned at all before now. Why mention something unless they plan on having him use it later on?

I kind of think you’re grasping at straws…
Maybe Faux Pax, but as Gypsy said, that whole window scene was about Peter Pan. Wouldn’t be the first time I was told I grasping at straws. However, sometimes theories, like Frankenstein’s, do pan out. (gosh, I can’t type a thing this morning! Had to edit a 3 sentences twice! 😆
That is an interesting observation GoldenKey and your Frankenstein theory does appear to be spot on.
In another thread, I posted a theory about Henry’s father being Bae’s son. What if, rather than using the character of Peter Pan, the writers are distributing aspects of the story to other characters. (Perhaps not just any characters either but characters related to Rumple). For example:
Rumple cut off Hook’s hand. (Peter did this)
Your theory about Mystery man losing his “shadow” at the window. (Peter lost his shadow) I believe mystery man to be Henry’s father who is Bae’s son.
In my theory posted here https://oncepodcast.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=19&p=22924#p22924 Bae comes through to our world. He is upset and emotional and a girl (Wendy) comes up to him and asks “Boy, why are you crying?” (Wendy asked Peter that question)

Was rewatching The Crocodile and noticed during dream sequence, Mr. Gold never really uses a cane for support or walking. Didn’t notice first time. Just thought it was interesting clue that it was indeed a dream.
I noticed that on about my third viewing but you’re right. For something so obvious, it was quite easy to miss.

ParticipantIt’d be an interesting decision whether or not to return to fairytale land. Some characters lives are better in Storybrooke whilst others would want to return home. However, I don’t think it’s going to be a simple question of whether to return or not. All magic comes with a price. It would take magic to get back to fairytale land and I think the price is going to be Storybrooke.
Fairytale land was destroyed when Storybrooke came into existence. It would make sense that, in order to restore fairytale land to what it was, Storybrooke would have to be destroyed.

Well, the assumption from the promo is that Whale/Frankenstein brings him back. So a shape shifting Cora seems unlikely.
I don’t think Whale brings daniel back to SB. I’ more inclined to believe that Regina is suffering from hallucinations at this point. They will use Regina’s problem in SB to parallel what is happening with Whale in FTL.
I disagree, I think Whale does bring Daniel back but it is not the Daniel Regina remembers. The heart that Whale puts into Daniel is either going to be an evil heart or perhaps seperating the heart from a person does something to the heart.
