Perhaps Milha has form for being unfaithful. Maybe she had an affair not with Hook, during which she conceived Bae, but it didn’t last so she went back to Rumple and let him raise Bae as his son, not realising that Rumple knew of the affair. Rumple loved Bae so he kept up the charade. In this episode when Rumple sees her with Hook, he may have pegged what is actually going on and may be trying to protect Bae from the truth.

As I posted in another thread, is Red befriending Belle out of genuine friendship or is she doing it so that the side of good has a way to keep an eye on Rumple? All anyone would know of Belle is that she is Rumple’s girlfriend and, considering Rumple’s reputation, they wouldn’t really trust her. Perhaps this could be what leads to a darker Belle, if she thinks the only person she can trust is Rumple.

A difference between Belle in the tavern and Milha in the tavern is that Belle was sat at a table by herself whilst Milha is surrounded by Hook and his men, Belle is a pretty girl and you would think that someone in the tavern would at least try their luck with her even if she told them where to go. What if Hook had arranged matters so that nobody would disturb Belle so that he could swoop in and turn on the charm with her?

Keeper of FelixIronically, even without their fairytale memories, most of the characters wouldn’t leave Storybrooke anyway because that’s where their homes are. The moment anyone crosses the line and loses the memories, they’re just going to turn round and go home.

I think Emma will grant the favour because of her own sense of honour. Even if she refused, she would still owe Rumple and that’s a position nobody wants to be in. I think Rumple’s favour will be reasonable enough for her to do.

Keeper of FelixPerhaps Rumple’s thirst for power is him trying to find a way to cross the boundary line. Does Belle actually know Bae is potentially alive or does she assume that he’s dead since all Rumple told her was that he lost him.

I think the very long time possibly goes beyond the curse and extends to her marriage to Leopold. She wasn’t able to properly grieve for Daniel, she had to keep up the charade that he ran away for Snow. Her day dream about killing Snow was interesting. Obviously the thought crossed her mind but she was disturbed by it. I wonder what tips her over the edge from being disturbed by the thought of killing Snow to outright trying to murder her.
She even said, “I want to redeem myself.” I think she very much wants to do that, and she’ll try really hard. I just fear that she might stumble again, since she didn’t burn the book of spell, but simply locked it away in the cupboard.
Perhaps she kept the book as a just in case scenario. She wants to give up magic for Henry but she knows the book is there just in case she does want to use it. Perhaps that may be the cause of what sends her back to using magic, if the book is discovered and nobody believes her that she isn’t using magic, she may decide that she may as well use magic since that’s what people believe of her anyway.
