Lacey says hello. Though, I guess they could expand upon her Lacey personality, if they wanted to go that route.

I wouldn’t call Lacey dark per se.

A few things Matt and I are tossing around:

–what if the characters themselves do a Jekyll/Hyde storyline? Either their negative aspects break off from their very selves and run around SB causing havoc: give our heroes and villains a chance to literally fight the worst versions of themselves.

–Or, same theme, but instead all the characters transition between their good and bad selves like Jekyll does.

Interesting, but also a bit like what they did with Shattered Sight …

Yeah but they self-plagiarize ALL the time. Like…with alarming frequency. I don’t think it being something like the Spell of Shattered Sight is a deterrent

He pointed out a furry was attacking (even without it being filmed) and witnessed Snowing, Regina, Grumpy, and Arthur doing the guardian of Galaxy stunt to save both Regina and Robin.

It’s a shame they can’t get Marvel’s Thor (played by Chris Hemsworth) to appear on the show. Just imagine a scene between Thor and Charming.

Thor: Have I met you before?
    Charming: I don’t think so.
Thor: You sure? You look very familiar.

Considering the show is doing greek gods this season, it wouldn’t be beyond the realm of possibility that they could do norse gods. However, if that was the case, I would want Thor and Loki played by Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston and that is where it becomes improbable.

Imagine if they did link Once upon a time to the MCU though? Have Coulson show up because Storybrooke has just appeared on Shield’s radar. If the show couldn’t get the big characters like Thor and Loki, have the minor ones like Sif. The Thor/Charming exchange would still work the same but with Sif instead. Shield would be the “home office” plot we got in season 2 but better and would actually be a decent “threat” to Storybrooke but with the exception that Shield aren’t evil, they’re just looking out for earth and investigating Storybrooke. The plot could be that the “heroes” have to prove to Shield that Storybrooke and its inhabitants aren’t a threat. Everyone would have different reactions. Emma might try the diplomatic approach whereas Regina and Rumple would go for the “get out of my town!” approach, possibly escalating the situation. Someone hassles Belle or Henry which provokes a magical defensive from Rumple or Regina then all of a sudden it’s Shield against Storybrooke and things start getting messy. Also, the events of the first avengers movie could still fit in the show’s timeline. Season 2 happened before the avengers movie and because Storybrooke doesn’t appear to have any outside awareness, they wouldn’t be aware of what was happening. They went straight to Neverland then were in the EF for a year during which the media interest in the alien attack would’ve died down. Emma and Henry were in new York for a year, however we didn’t see that and since things happened at the end of the year then they had other things to focus on and talking about the events of the avengers movie wasn’t relevant.

A clue seems to lead us to two deaths. It might appear that Robin Does die. But also when spoiled that Emma will come to terms and look inward, which clues us that Killian dies two. We don’t know yet, but was somehow spoiled that there will be more than one death.

Whilst I would prefer Hook to die over Robin because Robin is relatively harmless and hasn’t done anything wrong, it wouldn’t make sense for the “heroes” to spend the majority of 5B recuing Hook from death only to kill him off again.

Considering Kat (one of our trusted set visiting sources) swears she heard someone say “Jekyll”, this makes me think this really is Jekyll and Hyde. I’m wondering if they’re from the same land as Whale/Dr. Frankenstein: A Land Without Color. If that’s the case, 6A’s theme could be centered around the horror genre, with other notable horror stories thrown in.

    Quote

You know, if the Jekyll thing is correct, maybe Jacob and Nathaniel really aren’t brothers, but are actually alter egos of one another just like in the actual story. The brothers thing could have been a lie in the casting call to throw us all off. Adam and Eddy did admit that they lied about casting for Rumple’s mother, just so that they could keep Merida a secret.

I so hope this is true. I correctly guessed Walshe was going to be a flying monkey based on just a feeling and I had that same feeling when I came up with my Jekyll and Hyde theory.

Regina didn’t even know about the book until Emma came to town; Snow gave it to Henry in secret.

Although the audience were supposed to root for Snow and Henry overthrowing Regina in season 1, in the real world eyebrows would be severely raised of a teacher gifting a student privately like that.

That passage on Hades reads like bad fanfiction.

I think Hades story happens during the 28 years of the curse. Rumple was supposedly his biggest supplier of souls but he was trapped in Storybrooke as Mr Gold so obviously couldn’t go about murdering.

Issac was the author during that time and he travelled between worlds eg 1920s London where he met Cruella.

I thought Regina’s story was in the book and the pages Henry ripped out were of baby Emma?

It’s kind of funny seeing Hades on the back of Zelena’s pedal bike whilst Zelena’s pedalling. It’s not even a tandem. This is going to be a weird hilarious pairing

I’ve not got much to write about this episode. It was okay, not as good as last episode or the 5B premiere, but better than some of the episodes in 5A.

    Liked

Cruella was the highlight of this episode. I really want to see her and James on-screen together. Her scene with Charming was hilarious.

Hades continues to be great and I’m interested to see where the story goes with him.

The Henry/Charming scene was nice since we don’t really get those quiet moments anymore.

    Mixed

Liam was likeable enough and he served his purpose. I liked that he called Emma selfish because it is true. Unfortunately he then fell into line on singing Emma’s praises for no reason other than plot

Hook recognising he’d done some terrible things including his DO actions looked to be a turning point but then it was all forgotten by the end.

Again no Belle but then she normally gets the short straw for screentime.

No Rumple. Whilst he wasn’t relevant to this particular plot, it would’ve been nice for there to be a line on his whereabouts. He was conspicuous by his absence and the other characters’ non-reaction.

    Disliked

Emma- Emma is getting really clingy towards Hook to the point that it seems to be edging into emotional blackmail territory. We’ve discussed before how all the relationships on Once have issues but CS just seems to be the unhealthiest of them all.
