Although the theory of Whale being Frankenstein is beginning to look more likely, I am still not entirely convinced. Whale’s line to Charming “You’re not my Prince” doesn’t fit in with Frankenstein although perhaps Whale meant that because he doesn’t have a prince to answer to he’s not going to start answering to Charming. We know Whale is from another world, he appears to be an associate of Jefferson and they both seem to be fleeing from Rumple.

Regina’s comments to Jefferson in Hat Trick about his state of living suggest that these scenes with Jefferson and a young Regina happen before Jefferson stops using his hat which Charming crushed in Broken 😆

When the mysterious man walks through his front door, by the side of his shelving unit, there is something partially hidden. Depending on how you look at it, it either reads:

    ?NSNO
    or
    ONSN?

The letters shown look the same either way but would be in a different order. Anyone have any guesses what this could mean?

    Here’s more about the episode.

BELLE THREATENS TO LEAVE MR. GOLD IF HE CONTINUES WITH HIS THIRST FOR POWER, AND RUMPLESTILTSKIN ATTEMPTS TO SAVE HIS WIFE FROM A BAND OF CUTTHROAT PIRATES, ON ABC’S “ONCE UPON A TIME”

“The Crocodile” – Belle’s disgust over Mr. Gold’s continuing thirst for power comes to a head, and she threatens to leave him if he can’t change his evil ways; the dwarves pick up their axes and try to find fairy dust in the Storybrooke mine; and a reunion with an old acquaintance could prove to be Belle’s undoing. Meanwhile, back in the fairytale land that was, Rumplestiltskin attempts to save his wife, Milah, from being kidnapped by a band of cutthroat pirates, on “Once Upon a Time,” SUNDAY, OCTOBER 21 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

“Once Upon a Time” stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as Evil Queen/Regina, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David, Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry Mills, Meghan Ory as Red Riding Hood/Ruby, and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold.

Guest starring are Lee Arenberg as Leroy/Grumpy, Barbara Hershey as Cora, Colin O’Donoghue as Killian Jones, David-Paul Grove as Doc, Faustino Di Bauda as Sleepy, Jeffrey Kaiser as Dopey, Michael Coleman as Happy, Mig Macario as Bashful, Sebastian Wilkinson as young Baelfire, Rachel Shelley as Milah, Rondel Reynoldson as village woman, Eric Keenleyside as Moe/Sir Maurice, Christopher Gauthier as William, Chelsea Turner as tavern waitress and Ryan Hesp as quartermaster.

“The Crocodile” was written by David H. Goodman & Robert Hull and directed by David Solomon.

Several interesting bits in this article:

    Colin O’Donoghue as Killian Jones

Could that be Hook’s Storybrooke name, a fake name he possibly gives Belle or Hook’s name before he becomes Captain Hook.

Belle’s disgust over Mr. Gold’s continuing thirst for power comes to a head, and she threatens to leave him if he can’t change his evil ways

Belle’s already returned to Rumple after their little spat so what does he do that is bad enough for her to threaten to leave him for good?

a reunion with an old acquaintance could prove to be Belle’s undoing.

This interests me the most. Who could the old aquaintance be? I thought that perhaps it may have been Hook seeing as he is in this episode yet the way it is worded makes it sound like it is an old aquaintance of Belle’s.

I think this episode will be where we see the start of a “darker” Belle.

I think Belle is going to start agreeing with Rumple’s methods alot more, probably after The Crocodile. Also, in an interview, didn’t Emilie De Ravin say that Belle wasn’t going to try and change Rumple but bring out the lightness in him? In Broken, Belle said to Rumple “I thought you’d changed” which sounded like she expected him to change when she made him promise that he wouldn’t kill Regina.

I liked how Emilie delivered the line “my chipped cup”. It seemed like Belle was aware of how much that cup meant to Rumple but was trying to lighten the mood after their fight. It’ll be interesting to see how Belle reacts when she finds out that Rumple beat up her father but that it was all instigated by her father stealing the chipped cup.

I’ve been rewatching season one and in the episode Dreamy, at the Miner’s day festival, Astrid/Nova is talking to 2 other nuns-one of which is blonde. Seeing as how all the fairies we have seen so far are all nuns, could the blonde nun be Tinkerbell?

Also, in Skin Deep, when Regina went to see Belle in the mental ward, she only referred to Belle as “her”. Could it be Belle was the only female patient on the ward at the time or had Regina visited Belle enough times previously for the nurse to automatically know who Regina was referring to?

I think Maleficent being referred to as Regina’s sister was a mistake. In the episode The Thing you Love Most Regina called Maleficent her “only friend”.

It’s generally assumed that Bae was sent to our world. If he was sent to another world without magic then the curse sending everyone to our world would have been pointless.

I don’t think Charming died in the pilot but was in the process of dying hence why in Storybrooke he ended up in a coma. Dead people don’t turn up in Storybrooke.

    She could be Tinkerbell.
