Spoiler TV has revealed a casting call for episode 2×07.One role is Anita, 45-50, a sexy sorceress who has lived apart from her family due to their fear of her magic. She is extremely protective of others such as herself.

I don’t know whether Quinn is Merlin. It’s the group thing. Did Merlin hang out with a group of magic people? Maybe he’s the wizard of Oz.
Maybe Anita is the wicked Witch of the west.

I’d suggested the cheshire cat as a crackpot theory but it seems unlikely.

Keeper of FelixDuring the promo, it says “magic is coming to the town of Storybrooke and there’s no telling what will be unleashed” before cutting to Hook fixing his hook on. Could this suggest that Hook’s appearance in Storybrooke is a direct result of magic coming back or could it suggest that now Hook remembers who he is, the side of good had better watch out?

Keeper of FelixWould Dr Whale be Peter Pan? When the series first aired they didn’t have the rights to Peter Pan so they couldn’t use any of the characters.Although they said they had Hook ready and waiting for if they did get the rights, it wouldn’t have made sense to set up Whale as Peter Pan only to find out that they didn’t get the rights. Does that make sense?
I’m also wondering if the mysterious blonde patient mentioned in Archie’s file could be Tinkerbell.
Back to guessing who Whale is: Possibly King Triton from the little Mermaid.
-an inflated sense of self- As King of the Merpeople, he would consider himself highly important.
-Classic “god complex”- Has a negative view of humans and assumes that his opinion is the right one and everyone else’s view of humans eg Ariel’s is completely wrong.
-Frames himself as a victor in all conflicts- What King wouldn’t exaggerate his victories to make himself more respected by his people.
-Feels persecuted and misunderstood – paranoia?- Assumes that all humans want to hunt down the merpeople.We all assume Triton is going to be some old guy but what if they twisted it to make him young.
“Feels persecuted and misunderstood” could also suggest that he is being hunted down for a percieved slight against someone else. Maybe he was trying to help someone and it all went wrong and everyone thought he’d deliberately set out to hurt that person.

Keeper of FelixRumple must at least be mentioned in the book because of the scene where Snow and Charming visit him in his cell. It is possible that he’s not mentioned in great detail hence why Henry couldn’t figure out who Mr Gold was. Is Belle in the book? If she is then you would think that Rumple would feature heavily in her story.

Keeper of FelixI think time works in a way that they keep reliving the same year over and over so they would celebrate birthdays and christmas and would get the sense that time is actually moving when it’s not. Having Henry age would also give the appearence that time is moving. It’s only when Emma came to town that time began to permenantly move foreward.
