ParticipantIn all fairness to Rumple, a) he made that deal hundreds of years ago and it’s only become relevant now, b) Belle is only pregnant because Emilie de Ravin was pregnant, c) Rumple thought he had nullified the deal by killing the healer and only has just discovered himself that the deal still stands.
I kind of want to see Belle go all dark, and with Rumple, takes on Hades to protect their baby.

ParticipantScrewball Ninja came up with a good point about how Rumple gets fiercely protective about his children eg Spinner Rumple burnt down a castle and killed the previous DO in order to protect Baelfire.
Hades has just threatened Rumple’s second child. Hades is not going to walk away from this unscathed.

ParticipantIn the traditional sense, Hook never raped anyone. But they did establish, in canon, that Hook got women drunk, as–in his words–“a tactic”, to take them back to the JR for sex. We can quibble, until the cows come home, over what to call it.
There’s another aspect to this as well though. If Hook was getting these women drunk on the sly aka they didn’t know they were drinking alcohol and Hook was slipping some into their non-alcoholic drink, then that is clearly wonky consent and shame on Hook for doing so.
But if these women are willingly consuming alcohol and then drunkenly make the choice to go back to a guy’s place for sex but then regret it in the morning, where does that fall on the consent scale?

ParticipantI just had a morbid thought considering all the death rumors out there about Robin Hood. If Robin dies, they could name the baby Robin since it can be a girl’s name too. *shudder* I REALLY hope they don’t go that route… I’m also still hoping Robin does not die

Oooh. That’s morbid. And now it’s something I can 100% see the writers doing.
Well Cinderella’s baby changed gender, Robin’s could too.

ParticipantAnyone else wondering what the gang is going to do with this baby for the rest of the time in the Underworld? Is Robin just going to carry her around? I mean, I don’t think I’d leave a baby alone with anyone in the Underworld…..
ETA: also can we plz name this baby?
Your questions are pointless. And her name is Pistachio. Which is a boy’s name, but whatever.
Who in their right mind would name their kid Pistachio? Saying that Gwyneth Paltrow did name her kid Apple but still, why?

ParticipantJust had a thought which will probably never happen. What if instead of making the brothers in that casting call Jekyll and Hyde they make Hook Jekyll and Hyde.
At the minute Hook’s Hyde side is in control, hence why he’s always trying tick a fight with Rumple, why he’s such a skeezy guy etc. However, when everyone was sent into the AU FTL where they’re roles were reversed (Snow became the EQ, Regina became Snow) that’s when Hook’s Jekyll side came out.
This will probably never happen because Hook is too much a creator’s pet at this point but it gives the option for what little redeeming qualities Hook has to come to the fore and for the less liked qualities to be removed. Or just do what happened on Buffy where Xander was split in two and you had the confident Xander who takes what he wants and the timid Xander who was basically Xander’s insecurities rolled up in one.

ParticipantI want to hear them argue about which is the mother, the maiden, and the crone.
I think Emma would be the maiden, Snow the Mother and Regina the crone.
Emma looked all maiden-y in 5A

Snow and Regina could be interchangeable as the mother but I think Snow fits the more stereotypical view of a mother. Plus Maiden, Mother and crone are similar to Grand daughter, mother and Grandmother in which case Emma, Snow and Regina fit those roles respectively.

ParticipantFor a moment there I’d thought I’d missed an episode.
How the Hell do Snowing expect to send a message to baby Neal, let alone him do anything with it?
I wonder if Blue Fairy has some alliance with Hades? Keegan did send that tweet the other day/week.

ParticipantFrom Lily By the way, Hook was being dangled over the River of Lost Souls for refusing to chisel the names of his “friends” on the Underworld gravestones. He just couldn’t bear the idea of sending one of Emma’s family to the Underworld, I guess, which was quite a turnaround considering he was going to send every last one of them to the Underworld to begin with. Consistency is not why we watch this show, guys! We watch it for the weirdly young parents and the insane props they give to their old, grizzled children. #That
He wasn’t the DO this time guys. How on earth is it fair to compare things he did/say while he was the DO and things he’s saying now? Whatever you fully believe regarding the influence of the darkness, we all can agree there is at least SOME influence. So the fact that he’s saying different things now than he did before seems perfectly reasonable.
The problem with this line of thinking is that there is no consistency between each dark one and how responsible they are for their actions as the dark one. If Rumple is held accountable for his DO actions then Hook has to be held accountable too. If Hook is excused from his DO actions, in this case trying to send all of Emma’s family to the Underworld, then Rumple should be excused for his DO actions too. You can’t hold one culpable and not the other.
