ParticipantI just find it a bit odd that Morraine appeared the moment Bae was alone and then scarpered when she heard Rumple coming back despite telling Bae mere moments before that she wasn’t afraid of Rumple. It was like she didn’t want Rumple to know what she was saying to Bae.
Perhaps Morraine was genuinely concerned about Bae so she went to the Blue Fairy for help who used her to get to Bae.

ParticipantCould Morriane be in league with the Blue Fairy? Bae did not know of the Blue Fairy until Morraine told him and it just seemed convenient that the solution Blue Fairy offered to Bae was to give him the magic bean that would take him and Rumple away from Fairytale land. Was Blue Fairy manipulating Bae in order to get rid of Rumple?

ParticipantIs Morraine possibly in league with the Blue Fairy somehow? She appears when Bae is on his own and tells him about the Blue Fairy and quickly scarpers when Rumple returns despite moments earlier saying she wasn’t afraid of Rumple. That is Morraine’s only appearance in this episode. Bae didn’t know about the Blue Fairy until Morraine told him then later the Blue Fairy was quick to give Bae the magic bean to take him and Rumple away from fairytale land. Was the Blue Fairy using Bae to try and get rid of Rumple?

Rumple’s Wrench: Belle (Emilie de Ravin) and Red Riding Hood (Meghan Ory) have been upgraded to series regulars. And with more Belle comes more drama for Rumpelstiltskin. Says Horowitz, “Rumple [Carlyle] is a man who feels he is incapable of being loved. So what happens when the person he always regretted letting get away comes back? How does that interfere with his ultimate goal? Because he is a man who always chooses between love and power. For us it is also fun because Belle has been in Fairytale Land in a locked asylum so, theoretically, she has never seen a phone, so a parking meter might frighten her.” And as for Belle, Horowitz says, “What we love about Emilie is she is an incredibly versatile actress, so there is so much we are excited to do with the character. What we loved about her interpretation of Belle is she brought something that was uniquely her to it.”
“Belle has been in Fairytale Land in a locked asylum so, theoretically, she has never seen a phone, so a parking meter might frighten her” Do they mean Belle was in fairytale land then in a locked asylum in Storybrooke or do they mean she was in a locked asylum in fairytale land? Will Belle be viewed as insane by the rest of Storybrooke because of her lack of familiarity with everyday objects such as phones and parking meters and her willing association with Rumple?

ParticipantI’m guessing Dr Whale is the giant from Jack and the Beanstalk because Whale is another word for giant and we know Jack is being introduced this season.
