Gold is suddenly eager to help Emma, Snow, David, Regina, Robin and Henry find Hook so he can return home to Belle; but in order to do so, he must find his ex-wife Milah in the Underworld and ask for her help
Because Milah’s unfinished business is Rumple/Nealfire? So he has to help her move on so he can go home?
This isn’t beyond the realm of possibility. She may regret the way in which she left them aka Letting Rumple think she was going to be gang-raped by a bunch of pirates.

Keeper of FelixI think they’ve travelled too far down the OQ road for Robin to not be the right man with the lion tattoo.
Just had a thought, what if Sean asked to be let out of his contract like Meghan did in season 2? Literally Robin’s role is Regina’s boyfriend. Robin doesn’t interact with Roland anymore so his father role has become non-existent in terms of actually having scenes with his kids. Sean might actually want a more challenging role where he actually gets to do something instead of just standing around doing nothing like he does on OUAT. It sucks to kill Robin off in this way if this is indeed the case but considering Robin has been glued to Regina’s side since season 4, it would look a bit odd if he just disappeared.
I would have preferred if Robin had to go off and do a mission whilst Regina looked after Storybrooke, or if Robin and Regina got separated across different realms instead of killing him off but I can see why they might kill him off. What will be interesting is if they actually have the characters acknowledge the death beyond the funeral.

If so, this would be the second episode in a row to answer a long lingering question. If we could keep that up, that would be quite nice.
It would be nice. Although they could’ve tied Robin into the overall story better by having him be the one that taught Snow to shoot. Having Robin be an old friend of Snow would’ve then given him a relationship outside of OQ, would explain why he was so into Regina upon meeting her (because if Snow is okay with her after everything then there’s no reason why he shouldn’t be), it would have made the whole Reina killed Marian originally a bit more tragic, and it would’ve made OQ make more sense. Alas we are where we are.

Keeper of FelixI think sticking to just stories that have been Disney-i-fied is a huge mistake. The world is full of interesting myths and legends who’s themes and constructs are universal. And don’t the writers owe it to their fans to broaden their minds to the wider world?
Yes and no. Whilst the show shouldn’t necessarily just stick to Disneyfied stuff, at the same time because of the limited amount of screentime available with the 11/11 split, I’d rather the writers focus on the characters we have and tie in the more well known stuff with them rather than going off on a tangent with an obscure myth or folklore that is not heard of outside that country of origin.

Keeper of FelixInteresting theory but I doubt whether the writers would’ve thought that far ahead when they created Zelena. They probably thought “okay she’s the wicked witch, the wicked witch is green, how do we turn her green? I know, let’s make her green with envy”

Translation: yes that’s a rough translation. It’s not how actual Greeks would have written it (it’s too perfect word order…like they took the English words and simply put them into Greek whereas Greek would have words placed in any order it dang well wanted).
Interesting that they’re using “agape” for love—there are several words in Greek for love but agape has a lot of Christian meaning nowadays and it meant a more universal, cosmic love instead of brotherly, more common love.
We could be getting a Lord of the Rings vibe “YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!!” or it kind of feels a bit like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade where he has to pass the traps to get to the Holy Grail. Plus the bridge Henry sr walked up to heaven was very similar to the bridge in IJATLC

Keeper of FelixWith all due respect, I can look at it however I want. I do have to question the writers’ judgement if that in fact does occur. I never said anyone else had to question it. I just said I did.
Still don’t understand why you take a personal offense to things I say sometimes. I am simply commenting on what you said, and I happen to disagree with it. Has no one disagreed with you on here until now? I use the word “I” many times because it is what I think. I, emphasis on I, don’t think it’s fair to call their morality in question simply for killing off a good person and keeping a bad one, especially if the killing off of the good one moves the story and affects characters in a profound and interesting way. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t believe I ever said you weren’t allowed to look at it with your own perspective or feel differently. Or that you were wrong. But aren’t I allowed to disagree without getting a snarky “with all due respect, I can look at it however I want,” comment? Sheesh.
In all fairness, it is somewhat eyebrow raising that the writers would (potentially) kill off Robin, a father of two whose worst crime is being not very dynamic compared to other characters, yet they are willing to bring back Hook who we’ve been shown is a less than stellar guy yet gets treated by the show as the greatest thing since sliced bread.
At this stage, it seems like Hook is solidly entering creator’s pet territory
