Anyone notice how Rumpel’s voice changes the more evil he becomes. He had his normal voice in desperate souls then in the return when he said “even mutes can draw a picture” it went into the voice that Rumpel had from the beginning of the series. When Belle kissed him, it briefly went back to his normal voice and generally when he was around Belle his voice wasn’t as sing songy as it was normally. Anyone agree? Could the loss of both Bae and Belle have pushed Rumpel over the edge?

Keeper of FelixPriceofMagicParticipantI’ll be interested to see the reunion between Belle and Mr Gold.
Whilst we know Rumpel believes her to be dead, we don’t know what Belle was told for Rumpel not coming to help her, especially if Regina has anything to do with it. I think Belle remembers fairytale land. The curse was supposed to take away happy endings but Belle didn’t get a happy ending, neither did Rumpel or Jefferson and those two remember their fairytale lives so it’s quite plausible for Belle to remember too.
I can just see the first thing Belle does when she comes across Rumpel in Storybrooke is slapping him across the face. Belle’s been locked in the mental ward probably from the word go so she’s not going to necessarily demonstrate the same personality she had in fairytale land though I think there will still be flashes of the old Belle that come through. Rumpel could see this and realise that Belle isn’t broken by her experiences but is more than likely “chipped”.
I would love for Belle to escape from the mental ward of her own accord because it would really set Regina on edge. She’s been keeping Belle locked away from Rumpel for a while so if Rumpel was to discover Belle was alive and who locked her up, I wouldn’t want to be in Regina’s shoes when Rumpel comes calling.

Keeper of FelixPriceofMagicParticipantI think Baelfire could be dead. He went through the portal to a land without magic centuries before the curse took effect. Of course it could be argued that he travelled through time but it would be more tragic if he was dead. Just imagine, everything Rumpel has done from the moment Bae disappeared was to get Bae back. He got more power, he created a curse, for 28 years he’s been stuck in Storybrooke and still no Baelfire. He thought August was his son and he got his hopes up but it was not to be. Rumpel blamed the blue fairy for taking his son and didn’t like it when she told him that he drove Baelfire away. Rumpel has been fixated on getting Baelfire back but perhaps it is already too late. His cowardice has really cost Rumpel the things he loved most and he has laid the blame on other people (blue fairy for baelfire/Belle’s father for Belle) rather than himself. The only way Rumpel will become human again is if he learns to let go of Baelfire which means letting go of his power which is what Baelfire wanted in the first place, for Rumpel to become human again.

In my opinion if any of the main family Emma, Snow, Charming, and Henry are a possibility for dying then certainly Belle, whole while she is a major princesses is so far a very minor character in the show, and Rumpel who is a main character are both possibilities as well. I still think they are talking about Regina though at this point. If everyone believes though then it does cause the problem of what do they do with Regina. Especially if everyone believes, Regina knows, and everyone is still stuck in Storybrooke.
I still disagree on Belle. She is a minor character on the show at the moment, an important minor character, but a minor character nonetheless. Her death would not be “competely majorly shocking” as the general audience haven’t had the time to really grow fond of her yet especially her Storybrooke counterpart. In my opinion, it’s got to be one of the main characters who dies for that major shock factor for the audience.

I don’t think Moe remembers ever having a daughter. Like rumplegoldfan said, there are no other reported missing people in town. If she had gone missing, it would’ve been reported. And if Moe knew about his daughter being locked away in the mental ward, he wouldn’t have looked so confused by Gold’s words about “shutting her out.”
Belle’s probably been locked down in that cell since day 1 of the curse, and any lingering FTL memories Moe would’ve had of her were probably wiped clean.
I agree. Imagine if Belle managed to escape from the mental ward and the first person she came across was Moe. She’d remember him as her father and he would just think she is some escaped mental patient. Poor Belle.

I don’t know. Both Snow and Regina tried to kiss their loves when they were dead or dying and it didn’t work so i hope they don’t make the exception for Rumpel.
Charming and Daniel weren’t cursed though. Rumpel is cursed with being the dark one so it could play that way.

Well someone’s dying according to E-Online it’s gonna be shocking & according to Ginnifer Goodwin it’s gonna have us throwing stuff at our tv sets. Narrowing it down who’s death would really screw with us the most? ❓ ❓ ❓ ❓ ❓
For the death to be “completely majorly shocking”, it’s got to be one of the main characters, someone who we think is safe because they are a main character. The possibilities are:
Emma- Unlikely. She is the protagonist of the piece, all the other characters are either her allies, foes or, in Mr Gold’s case, somewhere in between. If we consider the show to be a story within itself: Once upon a time an evil queen cast a curse…..blah blah blah……fairytale characters lose their happy endings…..blah blah blah….. who can save them?…..etc. If we go with the theory that the show is telling a story in the style of a fairytale then Emma is going to stay alive and “live happily ever after” eventually.
Snow White/Mary Margaret- In the promo for the next episode Henry says to Regina “Snow White will have her happy ending” and we all assume that will eventually happen but if Snow White was to die, it would throw a spanner completely in the works, it would be so unexpected and would be a real what the hell? moment.
Charming/David- Similar to snow White, everyone expects these two to make it so it would definitely be interesting to see what would happen if one of them didn’t survive.
Rumpelstiltskin/ Mr Gold- In every Rumpel centric episode they keep mentioning he’s a coward and I can’t help but wonder if this is meant to be significant. A coward will always save themselves before others so perhaps Rumpel’s final act could be to save a loved one such as Belle at the cost of his own life. (on a side note, does anyone think Rumpel could also be the cowardly lion from Oz similar to how he is the Beast from Beautyand the Beast? Oz isn’t my strongest area of knowledge but wasn’t the lion cowardly all throughout the story, was considered cowardly by himself and others until the end where he became brave?)
Henry- Wasn’t the point of Henry to introduce Emma to what was happening in StoryBrooke. He will have served his purpose once Emma believes. He is Emma’s happy ending, to live “happily ever after” with her son. If he were to die, it would turn Emma’s world upside down again. Who’s to say his death would be caused by a significant event, it could simply be he runs across the road without looking and is hit by a car and die. There would be no purpose to his death but it would have an effect on both Emma and Regina. It would be out of the blue, just happens and everyone would be like “I can’t believe they killed Henry!”
Evil Queen/Regina- “Good will always defeat evil” but does Regina’s death have to be part of that defeat?
The season will end with one of two scenarios. Either:
The curse is broken but……….
or
The curse isn’t broken however….The question is where can the characters stories go after this season ends. This season is mainly based around Regina and Snow White so what happens if the curse is broken? Some characters like Rumpel and Regina need to go with a bang rather than a whimper. If Regina was to survive, what would happen to her? Would she remain a main character or would she be relegated to the sidelines? Likewise with Rumpel. Questions questions, so many questions!

Or Rumpel or Belle.
I don’t think it will be Belle for the reason that she’s been kept hidden for the majority of the season so she’s not got that impact of dying that a main character would have.
As for Rumpel, it’s possible though I hope he doesn’t die. Perhaps he sacrifices himself to save Belle. They seem to be highlighting the coward aspect of Rumpel through dialogue so perhaps at the end of the season he does the “brave” thing and sacrifices his own life for that of a loved one. Like I said I hope Rumpel doesn’t die.

Keeper of FelixPriceofMagicParticipantThe notion that true love’s kiss can break any curse makes me wonder whether that will be the way to break the curse but the question is who’s kiss will be the one to do it?
The obvious one is Snow White/Charming- once they remember who they truly are because that’s the only way a true love kiss works according to the episode Heart of Darkness and Regina set the curse off because of her hatred for Snow White.
However, there are other possibilities as well.
Emma/someone- Emma is meant to be the saviour and when she kissed Graham he remembered his fairytale life before Regina squashed his heart. Maybe Emma’s true love kiss is the one to break the curse.
Belle/Rumpelstiltskin- Belle is supposed to play a significant role in the finale (or so I heard somewhere, can’t remember where at the moment, maybe on here?) and Rumpel created the curse. It just seems to me that if Rumpel is given true love’s kiss and accepts it instead of going off on one, all his magic may be undone including the curse. Belle and Baelfire’s last words to Rumpel were “You’re a coward” because he chose power over love so perhaps he needs to choose love over power in order to set things right.
Regina/someone- Unlikely but you never know. Regina enacted the curse, is meant to have this void that can never be filled, perhaps Regina finds someone to love who loves her and their kiss breaks the curse. Sidney and Regina maybe. At her most desperate moment she realizes he truly loves her no matter what she has done?
If the curse is broken at the end of this series, I don’t think anyone will be returning to fairytale land. They’ll remember who they all were and what there lives were like but they’ll be stuck in Storrybrooke. It’ll be interesting because in fairytale land they all relied on magic in a way and now they will be stuck in a land without magic and they’ll have to adjust to that.

Keeper of FelixPriceofMagicParticipantThere are similarities between Rumpel losing Baelfire and Rumpel losing Belle.
One of the last things both Belle and Baelfire said to Rumpel was “You’re a coward” before they disappeared and Rumpel never saw them again. Rumpel swore to the blue fairy that he would “love nothing else” until he got Baelfire back yet clearly he loved Belle and he lost her for the same reason he lost Baelfire- he chose his power over being loved.
It makes me wonder whether Rumpel’s happy ending is only going to occur when he stops being a coward and chooses to sacrifice his power for his loved ones. All magic comes with a price!
