ParticipantUm, okay, interesting. Not too on the nose…or on the face at all. I’ve no idea what it could be alluding to
How about the quality of the show since the end of 3A?

ParticipantWe never created “Swan Queen” or “Snowing” or “Rumbelle” or “Captain Swan” or any of the ships, subtextual or not—our fans took our stories and ran with them. We fully expect them to continue to do so.
….what?
SwanQueen, maybe, since a lot of it is subtextual but they are really going to say that they didn’t create Snowing, Rumbelle, or CS (and more)? That they don’t write for those ships? Did…did they watch the S5A finale?Did they watch the first scene of the first episode of the first season where Charming kisses Snow awake with TLK, where EF season 1 was filled with “I will always find you”, to have TLK between two characters is to write a ship! ship is short for relationship!

Participantthe Charmings realize there are “consequences to their headstrong jump to the Underworld, leaving a child behind
One would think they would already realize that….but okay
Agreed. You would think they would’ve thought about their son, the baby Snow was so desperate to have because she missed out on Emma’s childhood, but nope, they just jumped headfirst into this new quest.
The main issue here is that the story is now plot driven rather than character driven. It makes no sense character wise for Snowing to just up and abandon their young child for the sake of Hook. However plot wise A&E need them in the underworld so they make Snowing and other characters do stupid things just to get them from point A to point B instead of letting the characters direct the journey.
and Regina and her mom have an “interesting” reunion, given Cora’s dying words
This I believe is going to be a heartfelt reunion, and if anything, Cora will try and help Regina I suspect. Because Cora never kept her heart in her body, she never could truly love her daughter like she should have. We saw her dying words and her face when she looked upon her daughter for the first time with her heart inside her…….Regina will finally be able to spend some time with the mother she never got and vice versa. This I am looking forward to seeing, assuming that’s what happens.
Cora’s ghost wasn’t exactly the most friendly with Regina and that was after her death where she had her heart put back into her body.

ParticipantREAL Ursula, yes. But is she really a goddess or just BELIEVED to be one? That’s what I’ve been getting at for several posts now. She was powerful–yes–but that alone doesn’t make her a goddess. A and E can easily say that people believed her to be a goddess because of her powers and Ursula just let people believe it cause it worked for her.
Real Ursula lived hundreds/thousands of years before Regina impersonated her and used the statue to teach Regina a lesson because she was annoyed that Regina impersonated her so real Ursula exists as a real deity/god in some form.

ParticipantOnce’s season quality has gone from this:
to this:
And since Tom Hiddleston is such a good dancer, maybe Loki should challenge Thor to a dance off?

ParticipantI I totally think that Snow and Charming are calling the living world to ask about their baby. Silly
If they care that much about the baby, they shouldn’t have left him in the first place to go to the underworld.

ParticipantI guess something possibly positive to add about this is that it seems like Belle will actually get a centric in 5B.
And possibly pretty soon since they announced this casting. 517 maybe?
Then that will probably be it for Belle’s screentime in 5B.

ParticipantI have a theory about why the underworld looks like it does.
The underworld has no specific state. How it looks is unique to the souls that go there eg when Milah died back in the EF there is no way it would look like a wrecked Storybrooke because Storybrooke didn’t even exist then. It looks like a wrecked Storybrooke now because that is specific to our heroes and possibly even their greatest fear, that their home lies in ruins. Milah, Cora, and Pan are there and some others because they are specific to our heroes. What’s interesting is that in the UW Cora and Pan seem to have their children’s jobs, could this represent Regina’s and Rumple’s deep-seated fear that they are going to turn out like their parent?
It could also explain why Neal and Graham aren’t there, not including actor unavailability, the Underworld is based on people’s fears and no one feared Neal or Graham.
