The Emma element is an extra level of drama. He’d want to save his little brother, reconcile his brother and papa, but also protect Emma and Henry, I think.
In the end, i think he would try 1st to save Gideon, by saving him, he would also be protecting Emma and Henry, defeat the BF and then only helping Gideon and rumple and at same time helping himself accepting his father with all flaws, especially if he suddenly remember that when he was a kid he actually killed someone and wanted to kill more, that would also be a issue that neal would ahev to deal, and in the process seeing what his father did for him, of course that in true neal essence he would fell guilty about rumple being who he is and maybe in that case maybe gideon could also help Neal with their father, or they could both riot and blame Rumple together for all bad things that even happen to them, LOL.

Neal would react to Gideon being wrapped by Black Fairy. I mean, this is a kid who to a whole other realm to escape his Dark One Papa. I think I would have really liked Neal and Gideon interacting and Neal trying to help his little brother understand Rumple because Gideon has some serious Papa issues, lol.
Let´s assume everything is like it is now, not sure how neal would react by seeing Gideon wanting to kill Emma or having Black fairy as grandma after having peter pan as grandpa,but i would say , he would try to help RB saving gideon heart and destroying BF.

I think it’s natural that Rumple and Belle would eventually have kid. I don’t like how it came about (him being the Dark One again)
Im not saying he would not exist, when i saying like he is now, about gideon story, with neal and if the baby would even be a boy, like i said i always saw a RB baby as a girl , even with the name Rose, that would sort of link beauty and the beast story, would Rumple still be dark one or he would have stayed without powers, also, if Neal was alive, i say we would see lots and lots of RB, they would be there, and the same as snowing.
But i do think Neal would have love to have a younger brother or sister and not so much having a new crazy relative, and even making some joke how the black fairy and peter pan together had Rumple, which probably would make people calling him out bc was no time for jokes, LOL.
If fact i could see many of the storylines changing if neal was alive, and not in the sense of replacing neal in the hook scenes, im talking about essence of the show, if they would still be where they are now, bc they don`t plan advnace anymore, like they did with S1, in fact i would see the underworld storyline, being the last chapter,where emma was the one that died and they would have to go bring her back, another change would snowing baby that for sure would not be called Neal, so that is what sometimes makes me wonder how would the show be now, would be the same but only with Sf together, or even if SF was not together, would they have given neal another love interest and how that would have change the story, but i guess that is why fan fiction exists, and before people start saying hook would have been dead actually, i would not make CS, but i would not have killed Hook, i would have made HookedQueen( Hook and Regina together), how that would have change the story even with OQ and Zelena and Robin thing, would Hook and Neal be friends, there are so many options about that i started talking about something and ended talking about all the possibilities.

I think the question to aks, is if Nealfire was alive, would gideon even exist? Many say and i agree, Gideon is not more than a nealfire Replacement or RB kid if they had one would be a Girl? bc this storyline now, also works with a girl, but they went with a boy bc of reasons or would the black fairy even be connected to Rumple?

would love to see a survey on the typical CS fan, I would guess they are typically part of the younger audience (15-25) while Rumbelle fans are your 25-50. I am not sure and would love to see the demographic breakdown.
can`t give you what you ask, but is very telling the demo ratings age, actually, all shows look for a 18-49 year demo, however how they get to those results is interesting, they use the demo age data from 18-34 and from 25 to 54 years old, and something funny, the younger demo age data results( 18-34) is very low to ouat, they always get around 0.6/0.5 on those demo age, however the other one, is the one that is keeping ouat ratings more or less up, which means that are the older people that still keep the show , so those results are interesting.

Also, about Cs and RB fans, i can tell you that sometimes older people are worst than younger ones, there are some huge bullies from CS fandom, that most have more than 30 years and there is even some crazy people( i know this bc they go to all MRJ after ouat projects to trash him) that have btw 40 and 60 people, and they are mostly older, single woman, that probably dream in having a younger toy boy.
Also another thing, more in terms of “trend”, i believe the reason why there are so many cs fans( well if we ignore the ghosts social media account, were many fans may have more 100 accounts in several places to pretend a character has a lot of fans, but that is not the issue here), is not so much bc of the story, yes, the shallow ideas are also part of that, the cute, villain boy that falls for the innocent savior, but also has something that all of us in our lives already saw and even may have pass by, the sense of like i said before “fashion”, if is a trend, if everyone says that something is great and amazing, people just go along with, no question, that is what happen, to how Cs started getting lots of fans,the moment, abc, cast, media started saying that was the “It” thing, they dont question, they go along with it, this is reason, why many SF fans even changed to CS or even SQ( this not bc of canon, but bc they are very vocal as well), bc if they lost SF, they didnt want to be called outlaws, they wanted to be part of the popular gang.
There was a show runner some years ago, that was talking on twiter about how networks do their marketing and how that relates with the writers/show runners writing their shows and he said something like, ” If your show tells one story and the network marketing tells another, the network wont say they are wrong and change their marketing, no, the story told on tv will have to be changed to tell the same story that the marketing is telling”, never forgot this, and totally fils, into ABc marketing, that even on beginning s2, around winter finale, posted a trailer of abc iconic and timeless love stories and even tho Cs was not even a thing then, they used them, that screamed for the young, influenced minds that cs was the “Hit” story and everyone should support them and that lead to most media praisong hook looks and trashing Neal, so the story had to change, bc the network sort of “brain wash”( yes this is also a term that can be used in marketing, that is common brand term) the fans into what they should support.

Did you all notice, that when was with Emma, she said she wishe dhe was dead, bc she loved him so much that she was afraid of suffering again, so was also difficult to forget what he did to her and she had that during 11 years, yet with Hook she forgives everything, if this was a decent show, this would be the same that say Cs was nor real love, i mean everyone says that a couple that never argues is doomed soon or later, but since this is ouat, is more fan service.

So at the hot seat they said that the s6 finale would be like they always planned the show to end, however they are now saying this season 6 finale was planned in the beginning of the season, and for me, that makes more sense due to the fact that they would loose some original and long regular cast members and i don`t think was their plan to loose those, in fact if the show was supposed to end, there would be no need of a reboot.

The question is, if they do get 0.6 next sunday and for the remain of the season they get btw 0.7 and 0.8, how does that makes next season, where they won`t get half of the cast most viewers are used to seeing on the show?
Even if S7 is really last season and they get half season, would be wise for ABc to renew a show that with the numbers of ratings they are having now, with 0.8/0.7 and possibly 0.6 demo, putting in risk the show,where they may even have to take it of air after some epis, bc the ratings may drop even more?Or should they simply start saying now that this is last Season?
